- Patrick H1 contributionTotally interesting collection of local history and artifacts. Very interactive and very engaging. I was pleasantly surprised by the displays. A few favorites were the collections of arrowheads, the stuffed cougar, a very cool display of rocks minerals and gems, overall there's something for everyone.Written 26 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - studebjwGrasonville, MD192 contributionsVisited while in Klamath Falls last week and am so glad we did. It’s an absolutely amazing organization doing a much needed function in saving wildlife and educating. We had a 2 hour tour with Laura who educated us on the wildlife ambassadors on show.

- John DSan Francisco, CA10 contributionsNice little walk on a wide packed gravel trail. The falls are really just rapids (well, some 3-4 foot "falls") even in the rainy season, but it's pleasant.Written 20 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Don HKirkland, WA887 contributionsThis rail trail is as straight as an arrow from KF to Oleans about 9 miles each way. This section is paved with over 500 bumpy frost cracks so it is more suited to a mountain bike than a road bike. We did not go east of Orleans, when it turned to gravel surface. At Orleans is an old wooden snow plow on display... Way cool.Written 10 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lauren KeavneyMorris, IL347 contributionsWe had some extra time to kill before our next destination on our west coast roadtrip. We had stayed in Klamath Falls the night before and decided to stop here on our way out. I am so glad we did! I love birding and there were so many bird species to see! It was peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing!Written 12 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Chuck EKlamath Falls, OR2 contributionsFive of us visited the site in February this year. It was windy and cold, but the views were tremendous. The location appears ideal for developing a visitor's center for our region. From the top, you have a panoramic view of Upper Klamath Lake and its islands. The rim of Crater Lake forms the skyline above that perspective. In the foreground, local Indigenous tribes settled near the outlet to the Link River. Gazing south, visitors can glimpse the battlefield of Capt. Jack's Stronghold of the Modoc War of 1872-73. When the weather is warmer and the ground less soft, our guide said it is an easy walk down to see the Link River gorge. Two of our visitors have property development experience and see great potential for the site. Our guide noted that good roads and electricity are in place. Although it is close to Hwy 97, a small improvement would get easy access to the paved street and viewing site. It is a perfect site for this worthy project.Written 6 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- urbanguyRichmond, VA5,104 contributionsThe water was great. The scenery was terrific. I thought the trail was well marked.
The only "issue" we had was that we were going to paddle "up" from the Rocky Point Boat Launch (where we rented the canoe) about 4 mile. But, because of a beaver dam and low water, we couldn't paddle the entire "length" of the canoe trail.Written 17 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
