What travellers are saying
- lindacnpSw Grand Mound,3 contributionsWe had a good time, and everyone was happy with how their projects turned out. The studio is in a beautiful location, too.Written 13 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Kathy DSaint Louis, MO416 contributionsSeeing so many fascinating birds up close is amazing. There are eagles, owls, hawks, falcons and turkey vultures.
The self-guided walk around the grounds is easy and immersive. Every hour or so, a docent takes some of the birds out into the open for demonstrations.Written 22 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. AMBIANCE: 4.5. We dined outside at table at edge of terrace, with gorgeous view of the countryside. This setting was the main attraction.
SERVICE: 3.5. No major issues. There were many folks working and they were individually eager, but did not seem well-coordinated as a team.
WINE: 3.5. Among us we had the Tower Club Flight, the White Wine Flight, and the Red Wine Flight. All were satisfactory.
FOOD: 4.5.
- Soup du Jour (Tomato Bisque): 5.0. Lovely.
- Buratta Salad: 4.0
- Cheese Board: 4.0

- Carolyn HOregon15 contributionsThe park is gorgeous but it is full of hills, so you have to be able to handle that. It is so beautiful in the spring that you can go up and down the trails all day, and not really understand what you are doing to your knees, until later. Just an fyi if you are not conditioned or not used to hills.Written 16 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ladybug112 contributionsPlenty to do. Our group split in two - the adventurers hiked to the top, about 2 miles round trip. The rest of us took the trails down by the water and found many wildflowers. I added 18 to my garden in my picture/this app.Written 20 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- retiredfoolSan Diego, CA24 contributionsHad a great time touring the campus, the vintage buildings, the historic cemetery, of course a stop at Starbucks. - Sharon SAlexandria, VA27 contributionsSo many outstanding vendors at the Eugene Saturday Market. I picked up some bread and pastry from Crestwell Bakery along with a handmade wooden ladle and a lovely variety of organic berries. Simply delightful!Written 24 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- mikecingb224 contributionsIt was a bucket list item to see Hayward. Really, it would have been amazing to see the old one but the remodel, being the heart of TrackTown USA, is plenty amazing. As it turns out, I worked the 23 Pre Classic and even got to run the media race. A lap around the famous track!!
Very modern facility now. The colored seats are supposed to represent the colors of Oregon and make it appear more full, but more important to spectators, those are all padded seats!! Given it's size, not really a bad seat in the house. The low wall near the giant screen is great for viewing events up close but you'll miss the finish line. Several bathroom facilities, several water bottle refill stations (free!), and lots to look at in and around the stadium. Great place!
Not sure of parking situation but you're on the campus so, if on a weekend, you might be in the clear to park just about anywhere. I tucked in to the lot of the little museum near the stadium and it was a great short walk over and back.Written 21 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I looked up things to do in the area and found the Owen Rose Garden. It was an awesome experience and we only wished we had more time to spend there! - rocknrich3Keizer, OR15 contributionsWe went to Australian Pink Floyd and it was fantastic. The group was great, the people working the venue were so helpful(we're both walking w/canes), the food & drinks were excellent and most importantly for this old man, the bathrooms were clean and easy to get to; elevators were busy but no big deal. We stayed at a hotel about a mile away and were treated very nicely there, too. Hilton Suites off of 11th. Since we came from out of town it was a great experience. Ate one of our meals at Gamberetti's in Albany for another fantastic meal...(.Brick & Mortar, Sweet Reds, Sybarros all great Albany Restaurants) Hadn't been to the Hult for a concert since Little RIver Band(1980's) forgot how great the sound is in this venue. Keep up the good work and we hope to be back and thanks for treating us like royalty. ANOTHER great place is the new arena by the Space Needle(Climate Pledge)same fantastic service at the KISS concert.Written 13 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
