A wonderful collection which charts the history of Brewing in the town from the Monks of the 11th Century, through the history of Bass and other Brewery's in the town up until the Present Day.

But catch it whilst you can as this Internationally important center is closing at the end of October 2022 to make way for office-space for Molson-Coors and in so doing removing from view a collection of over 1,000,000 artifacts, stationary engines, vehicles and the mighty Shire horse stables and denying access to a significant industrial heritage site that includes Grade 2 listed Victorian brewery buildings.

That is of course unless we campaign to stop it! Sadly I can't tell you how to do this in my review but google is your friend.

We take our 2 year old here and he really enjoys himself. It's a lovely little farm and you can get food to feed the animals. It's a really decent price getting in and the tea room is lovely. All the employees are very friendly

My first visit today to Claymills but certainly not the last. What a great friendly crowd knowledgeable polite helpful and the work they have done and continue to do is simply amazing. All the machinery in steam in all its glory. There was even a bit of a classic car show and BSA Motorcycle on display. Well done to all concerned and keep up the good work. Thank you all for a lovely day.

A truly amazing experience. Could not have asked for more from the day. David is so personable and so knowledgeable; he really did make everyone feel so comfortable, he even remembered all our names! The birds are wonderful, such a privilege to be that up close to them. Very interactive, you get many opportunities for the birds to fly to your glove. The location is great, next to a lovely garden centre so you can make a day of it. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and will definitely go again.

A lovely gallery and very helpful staff. Ordered a limited print and they secured one for me and were most helpful.

Lovely place to visit although the toilets are quite horrible😔. The exit back on to the a38 isnt much fun either but its a lovely spot for a walk.

Recently visited the Pirelli Stadium as an away supporter. The football was mediocre but entry and exit was a breeze and the facilities were good. My other half enjoyed some faggots with mushy peas before kick off.

The beer was really tasty, the building is something else.

Service was on the terse side of gruff, otherwise this would be a five-star review.

I met a few friends at Burton Town Brewery on Saturday, strangely it turns out that a mate from school is one of the owners, Hi Ian.

I had a taster of the beers but my favourite was the Thomcat, great tasting beer and definitely recommended

    I'll definitely be going back.

St Mary's is the Church of England church for the parish of Stretton, noticed it was open and decided to have a look. From the outside the thing that catches your eye is the massive tower which houses six bells. As soon as you enter the Font is directly in front of you and then you notice the striking blue carpet leading up to the Altar with multi coloured kneeling cushions dotted around the pews.

Expected a decent town centre. With COVID it is very sad too see the demise of the once bustling town centre. Refurbishment works underway so lots of work incomplete. Car park facility adequate but indoor markets dire. Parked for 3 hrs, spent 45 minutes. Will return next year when things may revert to form
