What travellers are saying
- Claudia R6 contributionsPunta de Mita is only worth it if you visit the marietas islands. We took the bus from Sayulita and unless you are a surfer o paddle board there is nothing else to do. We took a tour to the islands which are a National Park so the visits are restricted but it’s worth it . Specially this time of the year because we saw lots of whales around the islands.Written 29 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We also rented a surf board for our son who had a great time and we rented a boat which took us out to Marrietta islands for a couple of hours. Great way to spend the day.Written 25 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It helps to have El Barracuda restaurant there, but would be a fine destination without it. Only about 45 minutes from Vallarta. Well worth the visitWritten 11 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Terry J1 contributionThere was no mention that this beautiful trail could not be accessed by general public, travelers staying off site, that learned of the recreational path and travelled in to do the walk, stop by a restaurant for food and refreshments and such.
We were met at the gate, told that, even an admission fee for offsite guests, was not possible.
The website and all other references to this trail , have no mention.
A wasted trip to Pinta Mita and a very bad taste.Written 7 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
