Rode the entire length from Port Colborne to St. Catharines in an afternoon (about 3 hours). A pleasant ride along the canal, and through parks and towns along the way.

beautiful beach! the 3 of us had a fantastic time, my son 2 years old couldn't get enough of playing in the sand and cooling off in the water .

The cost of $50 seemed a bit much for non local residents... beggars cant be choosers with the way things are now a days!
you can get in free you just have to park out side the beach and walk in lugging in all your stuff which isn't ideal either since just walking on the sand alone felt a bit difficult

it was different getting to drive on to the beach, but let me tell you , with a small car don't even think about it!! i have a kia sportage and even i was stuck going in and coming out ..its definitely an experience

in the long run we had a great time i would totally do it again
i would recommend going early so that you can get a good spot we got there at 10:30am and that was already a line up just to get on the beach

Lock 8 Gateway Park is still beautiful. It has a lot of flowers.

    There is a playground.

    An Anchor.

We can see the Lock Gateway Park.

P.S. It is not beautiful because of COVIT

    It is still attractive!

    This is Lock 8

HH Knoll Lakeview Park has a lot of people, especially with children

    There are shelters

However, kids like to roll on the grass. They love it.

    There is a playground.

The splash pad is the best.

    A must see!

Live concerts at HH Knoll. The new venue has more room for all the thousands of people gathering to enjoy the free concerts Canal Days has to offer every Civic long weekend. I would recommend it every year

I like boats and at the Sugarloaf Harbor Marina, there are many boats.

This is also the Ultimate Fishing Town.

Welcome to Sugarloaf Restaurant & Bar

    There is a huge bridge.

I enjoyed to see all these boats. They were very attractive at the Sugarloaf
    harbour Marina.

    This is a must see!

I went here a lot time.

However COVIT should not enter at COVIT.

    Here is what I saw:

    A red house

    A boat

    Huge trees and picnic tables.

    Visitor Information.

    A wooden house

    A shelter and picnic tables

    A brown house.

    All the houses were closed.

I saw Rocking Around the Clock. It was an amazing shows, but sadly interrupted with a power outage during intermission. With flashlights to the rescue, the performance continued. Hats off to the performers for pulling it together and entertaining the crowd without disappointment!

Port Colborne Lighthouses are quite far from the land.

I took pictures with my cameras.

I wish we could go there by boat.

When we arrives we parked our car.

However on the other side had quite a lot to see!

I liked the beach and enjoyed the beach and swimming at the Lake Erie.

There were many shelters as well and benches.

This is the best place to enjoy!

Day trip with my daughter. Was really impressed with the size of the beach and the fact that is was shallow for quite a bit before it got deep. Busy, but great for people watching. Cute town to visit before or after beach with a nice selection of restaurants.
