Thoroughly enjoyed the day. We had done a city tour and this provided another aspect of Guangzhou.
We visited a farming island which is still used to supply the city with fresh produce. Saw the amazing dragon dance which demonstrates the students skill in balance and coordination. The dragon dance is part of the Marshall arts skill set. Plus it was fun.
The dragon dance is held at tge mountain which is accessed by cable car and bus through the forest. The crater lake is picture perfect.
The tour also incorporates a truly unique show. It rivals an opera for the design and production-just fabulous.
Damon, our tour guide, provided considerable background information on all.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on the tour. Damien was informative knowledgeable polite and attentive. He was ever helpful and insightful. The itinerary was satisfying and Damien took extra pains to select a fine restaurant in Foshan's Xintiandi for lunch tailored and curated to what we wanted, raw fish delight and ice sweet and sour pork. The MPV which served as our transport was clean and ever punctual. The driver was excellent and safety conscious. We were picked up at our hotel on time and Damien shared interesting nuggets of local history along the way. Highly recommended. A good time was had by all.
worth seeing, a great place for a relaxing walk in the atmosphere of typical Chinese garden. great guide, interesting history, friendly atmosphere. excellent English.
I enjoyed the dragon dance and visiting Ip man museum, 🪕Wing Chun is not only a martial art, but also a spiritual and cultural force. Ip Man is the one who dedicated his whole life to Chinese martial arts, he was Bruce Lee‘s teacher.
