- Russell WMaine2,901 contributionsWe did tubing aka bumper tubing, and pontoon boat rental. There was miscommunication with both, but we still had a blast. The tubing was terrific. 10 of us got 2-3 turns and Michael is a great driver. It was SO much fun and we'd do it again. Michael drives at the speed you ask. FUN! Pontoon boats was fun, better for the elders. Take an online course prior in order to drive the boat. We swam and jumped off a rope swing FUN FUN! We would do it again. There is a lovely park to hike and view the boats in the marina. The kids loved the outdoors. The nearby Chimney Rock and Biltmore are also nearby. This is a beautiful area. - rudyg644Spartanburg, SC299 contributionsLarry will make you feel like if you were out on the Lake with a family member who is telling you all about his back yard. The tour we had was great, we enjoyed every bit of it. From the sites were parts of Dirty Dancing was filed to the huge mansions on the lake to the history of how it all came about. The scenery was amazing and the trip could not have gone better.
