- SteelCity13Austin, TX921 contributionsBeautiful fun trail! Lots of different paths to take even some down to water. Beautiful in the fall and they long place to see all these hemlocks together in this area. Also has a great little vistor center and bathrooms and a great play area for the kids.Written 17 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Martha J4 contributionsThis was a great experience. It was a beautiful display and larger than I expected. It was Latern displays but also Chinese music, dance, acrobatics, and karate demonstrations. There were a few vendors selling hot drinks, snacks, and tshirts. We enjoyed it. However, I will go at the beginning in early November next time. It was so cold I could hardly enjoy it. If cold doesn’t bother you than you will love it.Written 18 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dave M8 contributionsI have been going to Fred Bond since my children were in their early teens (they're in their 40's now). Using the parcourse trail, walking our dog the 2 miles around the lake and through the wooded trails. Watching the eagle fish at the far end of the lake, and the kids fish from the dam. For an in-town park, surrounding by homes in the middle of Cary, it is a great place to go.Written 15 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lori FCary, NC156 contributionsAttended twilight NC Chinese Lantern Festival on 11/17/23. No trouble getting parked, plenty of attendants directing you. Wait was short and opened promptly at 4:30pm. You start by walking through Chinese lanterns, all with different designs. Absolutely gorgeous! Then you start seeing the displays, each one has a sign with description.
There were performers on the main stage at 5:30pm. Lots of different food and also souvenirs. Not crowded at all. When it got dark, walked around again to see it in the dark.
LOVED it so much.Written 21 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Don NRaleigh, NC2,092 contributionsMy daughter and I visited this impressive Hindu Temple near downtown Cary. At the time of our visit on a weekday evening, we observed we were the only non Indian people there.
One of the members of the Temple invited us in. The Temple inside is not that large but impressive. Note that photography and videography are not allowed. Also you may not enter the wearing shorts, skirts, or tank tops. You must take off your shoes also. They do have places to store your shoes near the entrance
After exiting the Temple you walk around the compound. Everything is very interesting architecturally and there are some gold elephants and another one on a tower.
The towers are very impressive but a new one is being built that is about twice as tall as the others.
The people there are very welcoming to non-Hindus. This is definitely worth a visit if you are in CaryWritten 13 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I had ordered tickets well in advance so that the seats were on the aisle and 2 that were separated from other seats. It was perfect - didn’t feel closed in. The show was Good Shot Judy, a jazz group that is very talented and they performed as a group as well as with individual performances. It was very entertaining and I look forward to the next one I purchased in November.Written 22 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BlackMambaNumberFiveWilmington, NC125 contributionsApex community park is my neighborhood park. It takes ~50 minutes to walk around the lake and enjoy a calm sunset. - SteelCity13Austin, TX921 contributionsFun little farm with enough to do. We went for the food truck festival and first I have to say this place was organized. From the parking to the set up it was a great place to hold the event. Even love you didnt have to pay just to eat at the food trucks. Farm is very cute with lots of things for the kids to play and explore. Bet this place is just so much fun during pumpkin season. Would go back for sure!!!Written 17 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ransom007Anaheim, CA1,206 contributionsThere are pay to park lots near the stadium. The staff is friendly and helpful. Most of the seating is backless aluminum bleachers. There are a few areas with plastic theater style seats. There is a small amount of roofing to provide minimal weather protection for some seats. Inside the northeast entry is a concession area including a team store. There is a scoreboard on the north side and a video board on the south side. The public address system is good an the sight lines are also good. There is free wi-fi.Written 28 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Turner-Marie JMorrisville, NC13 contributionsI loved this park! It was shaded and well maintained. There was equipment for kids of all ages and abilities. It was very accessible and my toddler loved it. The downside was the parking lot was quite a walk, but since the point was to get outside and get moving, that hardly mattered.Written 9 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
