To anyone thinking of climbing Le Mourne who has little experience, I really recommend using Prakash at Green Discovery. An inexperienced climber myself (and not very fit either) and with a huge fear of heights, Prakash made the unthinkable happen. I felt very safe and Prakash was really supportive/patient the whole time, both helping and guiding me step by step. Prakash was very attentive and brought along additional water and snacks for us. A local to the area, Prakash also told us many facts about the various plants/birds which was brilliant and really added to the experience. Amazing views - really recommend to anyone looking for a challenge! Prakash’s contact details +230 5 760-8367

The crystal rock is a natural wonder and always fantastic to see. A huge coral with plants on it in a wonderful lagoon.

If you enjoy nature there's nothing more natural than this. Okay it may seem to be an optical illusion but it's fantastic that shifting sands cause it. This shelf is no deeper than 150 metres below sea level and is the largest of its kind in the world. However, the 'drop-off' of this shelf's edge plunges to depths of over 4000 metres into the abyss.

I appreciated our visit to the International Slave Route Monument, which is a moving tribute to enslaved individuals around the world. It consists of a number of impressive sculptures from countries around the world from where people had been enslaved. Stories about each sculpture are provided. However, it would have been great to have more history and interpretation of the art. Not necessarily worth a special visit but do stop by if you are in Le Morne Brabant.

Thank you for an amazing experience! Bryn guided us safely through these beautiful mountains, telling us about Mauritius history and culture with such a passion 🌞 made all the landscape even more meaningful. I've learned so much this morning! About the island, the apple trees with no apples, about climbing, bit of everything really. He also took amazing panoramic pictures for us. What an energetic, passionate, caring human being this guide is! Can't recommend Explorers Mauritius enough!

We booked these on the recommendation of other people's experience at the Hotel Creole.
These guys are great, they gave us the best day.
Food, drink and music all excellent.
We were out for the day, we saw lots of dolphins, went snorkeling and had a bbq on the catamaran.
All in all amazing day and would highly recommend.

Incredible experience. We did the dolphin swimming excursion and although it was only a couple of hours, it was worth every penny. We had spectacular conditions, and got to swim with dolphins 3 times in our trip. They were only 15 mins from the beach! The boat was clean and larger than I’d anticipated. Swimming with the dolphins was actually quite hard work (lagoon current + swimming fast to keep up with them!) so I’d recommend this only for strong swimmers, although weaker or non-swimmers will still enjoy watching them from the boat, as they get so close. We also went further up the coast to a more secluded & sedate snorkelling spot, also incredible to see literally hundreds of fish surrounding you.

Karlos Excursions were responsive on WhatsApp, and the boat crew were friendly and courteous.

An amazing experience and one I'm so glad we did! My husband and I did the 25 minute duo flight. It was amazing and our pilots were very informative and fun! I had a go on the controls and got some amazing photos....memories too of course! Fleur at the check in desk was awesome too, explained everything and was very friendly. Don't hesitate to book this to make our trip to Mauritius truly breathe taking!

I booked this activity to do a surprise to my girlfriend but I was the one that got surprised as well. Perfect experience to never forget. We left Le morne with the sunrise with Navy’s brother, Kevin in a bit bigger boat, we found the dolphins after 15/20min and the experience was unbelievable, swimming very close to them, in very clear waters. Kevin and his helper guide were amazing, very kind and made the experience even better. Then we did snorkeling and catch oysters and sea urchins that they later cooked at the beach for a perfect lunch. I would recommend it for sure. Joao and Carolina from Portugal.

It was very enjoyable to swim against the magnificent Le Morne mountain view. At sunset, I recommend you to try the cocktails, each of which is more beautiful than the other. Passion fruit mojito was the best I've ever had. The room of the hotel was very nice and the food in all restaurants was delicious. Special thanks to Ms. Medgee Mungur for everything. She took great care of us throughout our entire trip.
We will definitely be back and will recommend this piece of heaven to families and friends.
    Thank you Paradis Team

We had heard so much praise for Arnaud when we were planning our trip to Mauritius; I had seen his name crop up many times on various social media sites related to our trip, and all the reviews were very positive.
I contacted Arnaud to find out a bit more about what he could offer us in terms of tours around the island, and he came back with lots of great suggestions. He was so patient with me, as I was very indecisive and kept asking him to tweak the tour to suit our tastes and budget; he even changed the date at the last minute (at my request) as there had been so much rain the previous night that we expected everything to still be wet and miserable.

Arnaud's vehicle for the tour was very comfortable and spacious; he had cooled supplies of bottled water if we wanted it, and his driving was excellent. It was lovely to leave our hotel and see a lot more of the dramatic Mauritian countryside, and our South West tour took in all the major natural wonders; the Chamarel Falls, the Black River Gorges, the Seven-Colored Earth, the beautiful Ganga Talao Hindu Temple and lakes, as well as stopping at various places en route to show us fields of tea, fruits growing at the roadside, and then taking us for a quick lunch at a local family-run restaurant.

Arnaud himself was a real fountain of knowledge, constantly giving us little bits of information about places we were passing. His love for his country shines through, and his gentle humour made him great company. We would thoroughly recommend him!!

I and my partner did a beginner course with Son of Kite and we were very happy with the results. Despite the fact that we are not very sporty or fit, we learned very quickly thanks to good and explanatory semi-private lessons from Dodo and Jean Jack, while Patrice was keeping a good company on the beach. Shortly we fall in love with the sport.

Lessons were well organized, teachers communicative, equipment in decent shape and atmosphere very relaxed and cheerful. We highly recommend this school for any beginner!

Had a fantastic ride on a beautiful ex racer yesterday. We enjoyed lovely canters along the beach followed by swimming with the horses at the quiet end of the beach- it was an unforgettable experience and as an experienced rider myself, I can recommend this place for those who can ride. The horses are impeccably behaved are clearly well cared for and the staff were very friendly. A must do if you visit Mauritius and can ride :)
