It's a must visit beach in Mauritius as it was close to where I live, better than Grand baie beach. Shops, Bars and restaurants walking distance. Nice beach for swimming. Negative side: The sunset buildings are little rundown, some buildings are falling apart. Shops are very expensive and most of the shops are women fashion. The marina is very noisy at times, the tourist boats play very loud music from around 8am before they leave and when they come back in the afternoon. Some boats come back around 9:30-10 pm and loud music will be played from multiple boats until 11:30. Some of the more regular players are sometimes rude though to the staff and speak harshly even to women.
