- Shawn HWashington DC, DC413 contributionsWe came to this park during the winter when some of the better trails were closed. We originally entered teh east gate of the park only to leave and drive in the west, upper park entrance, which had a better trail access to see luciver falls. After that detour and a drive past hte closed ticket booths (the park is free in the winter) - we parked the car adn headed past hte old mill and up the trail. After a relatively short hike, we got to some spectacular overlooks of the Lucifer Falls. The park was pretty quiet and it'd be great to come back curing the season when the gorge trail is open.Written 16 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Shawn HWashington DC, DC413 contributionsUnlike the other state parks, this one doesn't require any hiking to get to the big waterfall. You drive in and can't miss it. The parking lot is right near the base of the falls and they are unique and worth a stop. As we were there in November, the park was quiet and contemplative.Written 16 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michael K995 contributionsThis is a wonderful trail. We started at Treman Triangle and headed upstream on Cascadilla Gorge passing by numerous waterfalls and cascades. The place is very scenic and the natural environment made you feel like you are in a state park in the country rather than in a bustling university campus. This is a must see attraction.Written 23 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Michael K995 contributionsAccording to the map, the fall is 156-ft tall, a respectable height inside a city. The easy way to view it is at the lookout point on the Lake St. bridge although the view is somewhat obstructed by trees. A better way is to hike down to the Ithaca Falls Natural Area where you can get as close as you want to the waterfall. At the time we visited, free parking is available at the lot at the intersection of Lake and Falls St.Written 23 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BeckyBinghamton, NY173 contributionsFour of us had been to Ithaca for the afternoon and decided to call in to the vineyard for a quick drink on our way home.
We visited less than an hour before closing, yet the lady who served us was so friendly and accommodating that we decided to dive in on the wine tasting (4 samples for $8) before settling on a bottle to drink between us.
Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere and the Avery’s Spumante - DELICIOUS! We’ll be back for sure.Written 3 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is expensive but well worth the money. Dar and his crew are amazing so friendly and professional. They walk you through everything and make you feel safe. We went on Thursday 10/19/23: the view was amazing fall foliage was beautiful. We saw so many deer. I wish the crew took a picture of the balloons as it was going up with everyone in it that they could send to us. That would be cool to have. I never realized how much work it takes to get the balloons in the air. It was amazing start to finish. I can’t wait to do it again.Written 21 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Taylor M1 contributionWe were so lucky to get this experience with our tour guide, George! All of the winery owners/associates on the tours were so knowledgeable. It felt really personal with the way they took our groups’ questions, I really felt like we learned about everything we wanted to know. Delicious wine and lunches. George was on time, very personable, and was a wealth of knowledge about the wine region as a whole. You can tell he has a great relationship with the winery owners and knows the fine details about winemaking in NY, but makes it very quaffable and easy to understand. Thank you for a wonderful tour!Written 24 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Andy05255Manchester, VT232 contributionsWhere ever we travel , we try to get out on the water! such was the case during our stay in Lake Cayuga in the Finger lakes, region of NY! We contacted FLX sailing charter and alerted them to our plans to visit in July, back in Feb 2019.
When we arrived I sent an email and the next morning Andrew replied and we set a time for our charter! The winds were light but we all enjoyed our time on the water! Andrew provided some great snacks and seltza's and we brought along some Champagne and orange juice for mimosas! Being on the water with my family is my happy place and FLX charter service and Andrew made our day priceless!Written 9 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
