The drive along the lake was beautiful. Unfortunately there really are not any spots to pull over to take photos! I was on the road during the week and felt like I was the only one and didn't worry about pulling off to the side, hopping out, and taking a shot!

Definitely visit the Library on campus which is very insta worthy and the botanical garden. We drove through the entire. Amours and there are some great views on top of the hill of the lake and city of Ithaca. Lovely spots for photographs and very nice cafes inside the one of their building with many vegan / vegetarian options.

An uphill hike on a well maintained path. The cascading waterfalls are breathtaking. The hike is roughly 1.3 miles from bottom to top. We happened to travel uphill and passed many traveling downhill. A beautiful sunny day made for a wonderful and tiring experience.

Excellent visit with our preteens- it was in August 2021- so the visitor center was closed but we did a self guided tour of the gardens and it was beautiful. The grounds and buildings all over the Cornell campus are gorgeous. We did a few trails around the gardens too.
Do visit if you are in Ithaca, NY!

Pictures do not do a justice to this spectacular sight! The falls are really large, and if you stand close enough, you will feel the mist. The falls are easily accessible, since you don't need to hike much at all to reach them. There is usually plenty of parking in the empty lot across the street.

Visited this with my teen boys. The food options were plenty. The space felt like an open air market in a foreign country.

What an amazing collection of art exhibits spanning all eras and styles - just a little bit of everything. And the highlight is the views of Ithaca from the 5th floor - not to be missed.

Frédéric welcomed us in his winery and provided us a exceptional service. Besides the tasting, he also gave us plenty of information about the history of wine making and how proccess it today. Oh and he also has some of the best fortified wine we've ever had.

Thanks again for this wonderful visit Frédéric

Stewart Park is located along the edge of Cayuga Lake, offering nice views of the clear blue water. There is a tennis court along the lake, as well as many walking/biking trails and picnic areas. The park is a nice place to see a sunset and relax in the outdoors.

The Ithaca Commons is a nice place to spend an afternoon or evening with friends/family. There is a good amount of unique restaurants to try, many having outdoor seating. The boutiques and shops are nice to stroll through as well, as long as they are open.

Stopped by after a day hiking and looking at the falls in the area. Cold winter day. We were thrilled to have Ithaca Beer right down the road. We both had the Chipolte Vegan Burger - which was excellent. Highly recommend stopping in. Wait staff was very friendly.

Came here as part of visiting Ithaca falls proper. Ithaca falls is fine and this bridge is a neat thing to see and a decent photo op, but there are so many better waterfalls and trails in the area. See Robert H. Treman Park for example. This one is a little easier to access than Lucifer falls, but still not as gorgeous. But worth a visit if you’re in the area.

I can imagine if you have children and live in Ithaca, this is a FANTASTIC resource. There are play areas, little places to hide like a woven willow structure, a little playhouse, a small pond - looks like they run a camp and kids had been catching frogs in nets, and of course, the gardens.

It is free, it is fenced in. There was a snackbar there but I don't think it was open. We took a stroll around, took some pictures. It's right across the street from the lake trail. There is plenty of parking.

Sadly the giant earthenwork turtle sculpture was closed off when we went (lol, I can't tell you how disappointed I was!). We had a pleasant time looking around - it's definitely a cool place. Again, it must be an amazing resource if you actually have kids to play there/go to camp there - and a great place for taking pictures of your kids as well.
