This winery was simply the sweetest place we visited in New Mexico! Tucked away in a quiet and serene area with AMAZING views of the mountains, we sat in the sun on the back lawn and enjoyed the calm day. The hostess Karen was fantastic! She was intelligent and thorough and surprisingly knowledgeable about Albuquerque and the best attractions and restaurants to go to. We had an exceptional time and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a sweet escape from the city and some delicious wine!

Doug did a great job keeping track of us to make sure we didn't miss the tour, knowing we had a tight schedule that day. Learned so much about the art, furnishings, structure and the tools of the day. History came alive. This is why you must have a guide. I took very memorable photos that detailed our experience. I didn't give it a "5" because they didn't have the chapel put back together and that was a bit disappointing. I'm grateful we made this a part of our journey and a GREAT value.

This is a great little farmers' market. We make it a point to shop here every Sunday for not only fresh seasonal fruit & veggies, but local beef, pork, organic chickens, bison, bread & pastries! There's always something new that we haven't tried: thick tortillas that are more like Naan or a flatbread, anyone?
Best days are the first day of corn from Wagner's, fresh peaches at various times of July & August AND the first day of chile roasting!

Enjoyed walking around the outside and reading the historical markers. We will return when it is open to see what we peeked through the windows to see

Visiting family in Albuquerque and they took us here. They have a great outside patio and the service was friendly and helpful. They were great about letting us try a few before we made our selection. My favorite was The Duke’s Red Ale. They also offer other beverages if you are not a beer lover.

We enjoyed the beers here - excellent and varied offerings. On a very hot evening it was very clear they need to address seating. Pretty back patio was right in the sun, indoors is open and thus not climate controlled. We opted for the front which was shady, but the seating was right in front of the AC unit which was blasting a lot of hot air. I get it's NM in summer, but there are things they could do.

WInes are very good and the owners/wine maker are awesome people. They have a variety of wines to suit different tastes.

When you are going to a new city and have never been to ny of the art, antique or consignment stores; we call the process of going to them "frog kissing" because you never know what what you will find and what will happen. The good news is that this one turns into a prince!

We have been here a number of times, but have never written it up in TA. It is an excellent place with a friendly and somewhat helpful staff. We have ALWAYS found some great items to buy--oriental rugs, art, jewelry, Native American silver hat bands, and furniture items. There is just about anything in here--all you have to do is dig through it to find something you can't live without! I can assure you, you will find some great deals and some wonderful stories of what you have found. You may even have an "Antique Roadshow" experience/opportunity here.

There are a number of rooms filled with items. The jewelry is near the front and the owner does have some details on those items. his is a great stop--do not miss it if you like consignment shops. Many (some is a better assessment) consignment shops are "fronts" for dumping merchandise from stores, pawn shops and overstocks. They have some real junk in them. NOT HERE! All the merchandise appears to come from local families selling off pieces for a wide variety of reasons--all ethical.

My husband and I took the Chile and Chocolate class from Jane and we had a great time! She is kind enough to open her lovely home and huge kitchen to her "students" and was a gracious hostess. We had a small class of 6, which we thought was perfect. My husband and I baked a chocolate cake which should have been beautiful, but we are not chefs and our result was delicious but far from lovely - no reflection on Jane, and we all got a laugh from it. Jane is full of tidbits of not-well-known New Mexico history and knows all about chile and spices. She is fun and patient (important!) and we are looking forward to attending another of her classes. If you want something different to do, this might be your ticket. Our class was a gift (Jane has gift certificates you can purchase) and one of the best gifts we've ever received. Can't wait to go again! Highly recommend!!
