The Hoover Dam vantage point was great. The SkyWalk exceeded our expectations & views from Guano Point were amazing. Lots of food, water & comfort breaks during the tour. - KindredTXDallas, TX7 contributionsLuis was a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable. It’s a long day (about 12 hours) but it’s broken up in a way that makes it enjoyable.
Couple of things: Hoover dam is in the middle of renovations for their visitor center. It’s still amazing to walk the dam
Skywalk at Grand Canyon West doesn’t allow you to take pictures. You have to lock up your phone in a locker before you go. They also make you put on shoe covers. They go on like surgical shoe covers. Lot of people were confused with how to put the covers on.
You can have a picture taken by their photographers. It costs $25. OR you can have someone in your group stand to the side, outside the building (on the backside of the skywalk) and have them take your picture
Lunch is not included but they do make a stop at Subway close to lunchtime, if you want to buy a sandwich.
