Such an amazing area, with so much to see. Given the chance, I'd return to Vegas and pretty much ignore the city just to come out here day after day and explore.

It was a beautiful hike, our guide Julio pointed out great sights and took us to some amazing views where you could see the whole city. The hike was not too easy and not too hard, it was perfect!

This is a great first stop when visiting Red Rock canyon.

There is a short film that runs continuously. You can get a park map, and get any questions answered.

This is THE place to go if you like bouldering or rock scrambling. It has a huge number and variety of boulders to climb on. It also has access to hiking trails and great views of the red rock. There are always lots of climbers and hikers here so be courteous to each other. Make sure you park in the designated parking areas. It is also easy to access the Red Springs Picnic Area and the Red Rock Canyon Scenic loop.

There is entrance fee for entering Red rock canyon conservation area, but the fee is not very expensive, it $15 per car, if you have National park annual pass, you can enter for free, but if you want to take a look to the red rock canyon without paying the fee, you can go to this Red Rock canyon overlook, which is located on highway 159, before the entrance. The photos I posted here are taken from this red rock overlook, you can see the red rock mountains, with zoom in function of the camera, you can view them in a closer manner.
