Preston was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. Beautiful day on the water. Only negative was having to wait for over 30 minutes for our group to enter the cave. Would be nice if different groups left at staggering times so not all waiting. Would definitely recommend this tour.

This raft trip was a lot of fun with amazing views. Captain Ron told us a lot of stories and the history about the river Dam and bridges.

It was a beautiful experience. Gauge was a fabulous tour guide, very knowledgeable about kayaking and the area. He has a very pleasant personality. Lydia is also a great help with her knowledge of the environment. The two mile trip at Willow Beach is very beautiful and relaxing. I would definitely recommend taking the trip. Don't expect to see the brilliant colors of Emerald Cave as advertised. Those colors only appear under the right sun angle and weather conditions. The lake traffic gets crowded as the day goes on. I suggest the earliest tour, much more peaceful.

Delighted we chose to do this. The whole day was amazing from start to finish from the hotel pick up to drop off. Everyone was so polite and great fun. The helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon was incredible and the view are out of this world. Delighted we spent extra to see it from the air instead of a coach trip. To fully appreciate the canyon it’s gotta be from the air and it’s gotta be 5 Star Helicopter Tours. The kayaking with Blazing Paddles was also incredible, our guide Melissa was outta this world, full of information and put everyone as ease. The views on the Colorado river are brilliant and the kayaking is easy and we were lucky we had a really fun group too. Then great food served on the trip back to Vegas and dropped to our hotel. This tour and these people rock.

It is always a good day when you can be outside enjoying this beautiful world. The views on the kayaking trip were amazing, the hot springs were relaxing, the kayaking was great exercise, and the guide was both enjoyable and knowledgeable. It filled all our boxes for a fun filled day!

My family of 4 - son 18, daughter 25 - had a great time! Pilot “Mad Mike” made the helicopter tour very informative and fun. Mak was our kayaking guide and she was precious. The lake was beautiful and water was perfect for a hot summer day. Don’t forget to bring water shoes bc the bottom of the lake is rocky. All of us really enjoyed the outing.

Fantastic day spent on the Colorado River with Kyle as our guide. Although the bus getting to the river was very bumpy, Tom our bus driver was very informative, with many stops to look at various plants and explanations of the terrain. The rapids included a class 7 which was awesome. Tour was pricey buy worth it.

We took the river rafting trip for my husband's 60th birthday. We had so much fun! The rapids were amazing! We were soaked from the get-go and couldn't stop laughing. Jeff picked us up early at our Vegas hotel. He supplied pillows so we napped until we stopped for a nice breakfast at Black Bear Diner. Then, onto the Hualapai lodge to catch the River Runner's bus. It was quite the ride down into the Canyon on a bumpy gravel road. Beautiful drive with a few stops for photos that were narrated by the driver. We were on the water from 9:30-3:30 with a stop at the Falls and for lunch. Our guides, Elias and John, were great and very knowledgeable about the Canyon's history. There is so much visually to take in. The geography is breathtaking. We were exhausted at the end from all the fresh air and waves! We slept on the way back and arrived at our hotel around 6pm. What a great way to celebrate a birthday! Sit back and hold on tight, you're in for an awesome ride!

Family of four - we took our two teenage daughters out kayaking on the lake with Aaron. What a great day ! Really easy to book & Aaron was the perfect host with lots of info along the trip on the area, wildlife & geology thrown in for good measure. So much fun, with a lovely stop of a private beach round the lake for lunch after paddling right up to the Hoover dam. Thank you for a great day, lots of fun & many great photos to remember. 👍

Blair went out of his way to make this trip easy and enjoyable for all 5 of us. He is a supportive guide and his enthusiasm and joy for the outdoors is contagious. I am not a confident kayaker and he took the time to reassure and help, so that I was able to totally enjoy the experience and keep up with my athletic friends

We rented kayaks to go to Emerald cove, AZ. It was a great experience. Clear communications, smooth process. Desert adventures had the same price as other companies for tandem kayak rentals but the timing was more convenient for us: 10.30 am-2.30 pm. Other places offered 8-9am pick up. It's nice to go later because the Emerald colors appear in the cove only after 1pm. It takes about 1 h to come back, so you can be there until 1.30pm and get nice views.

We had an awesome experience. Adam was our guide/shuttle driver and it was everything we had hoped for. So scenic, and peaceful. The hot springs all the way through were a treat. On our way out we saw some Desert Big Horn Sheep next to the water. Having the extra day to enjoy the canyon and paddling was just right. I've used Desert Adventures six different times, and they are always so helpful. Great staff.

3 couples booked the Hoover Dam & Black Canyon raft tour through Viator on March 18/19. Go123 provided the tour. We received confirmation and booking numbers. Credit cards were debited. March 19/19 we received an email from Viator saying the tour was cancelled. I phoned Go123 and was told the raft portion was through a different company and our tour date was full, so unavailable. They said they only contact the raft company after payment and confirmation. Never on Viator site did it say tour involved 2 companies and confirmation meant nothing unless raft portion was available. Viator was just as useless. They did not know 2 companies were involved in the tour, did not know why it was cancelled and could not even find out if any alternate dates were available. We wasted a lot of time with Go123 and Viator. We are back at square one. All we got were useless apologies from 2 useless companies. At least we will get a refund in 3-5 days.

I did this tour in June of 2022 (the list didn't allow me to select that date) and it was way better than I'd imagine. The van ride itself wasn't too lengthy from the strip and our guide was entertaining and informative. If you've ever dreamt of being in two places at once you can be (Arizona and Nevada). It was a hot 35 degrees Celsius that day but the river water and breeze made it comfortable (pack sunscreen, hat and sunglasses). My best friend and I wanted to do something we hadn't tried before in Vegas and this was just what we needed. It was relaxing and enjoyable but also got a little exercise in paddling. I would recommend and would even try again.
