What travellers are saying
- MCar4 contributionsPlayed there and got really thirsty at the casino. We were playing the slot machines and both my husband and I requested water or a drink several times and we were totally ignored. Guess that will be our last time there. Perhaps we didn't look up to their standards....don't worry your machines won't see us again.Written 3 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - IamZChef675 contributionsClean casino with lots of action. Lots of different games and slots to choose from. Being a slot player I enjoyed the array of different slots to choose from. Even had some luck on free play!!Written 1 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- TYEve79Singapore38 contributionsLocated near the strip, can easily walk over. Room was clean and beds were comfy too. Everything was working and TV had many channels available. Most importantly, food at the Village Pub & Cafe was cheap (compared to other eateries at the Strip) and delicious.Written 7 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - boymomdfwDallas, TX1,667 contributionsIf you are trying to get a higher status play the slots! You get a lot more points through slots than card games. There are a lot more slots to choose from too!Written 6 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lily TravelGirlMiami Beach, FL255 contributionsWe are Ceasar's diamond members, so our view is a bit different because we go to Las Vegas often. Yes Paris Las Vegas doesn't compare to Bellagio or Cosmopolitan hotels, but you're paying less than half the price.
The best thing about Paris is the location. It is smack in the middle of the strip and you can walk everywhere from here. The Eiffel view rooms (worth the extra $) have one of the best views in Vegas, with the pool, the sunset, the Bellagio fountain and Eiffel Tower. The hotel also has 2 of the most happening restaurants in Vegas, Mon Ami and Vanderpump. Yes I agree with some negative reviews about the pool being only 1/2 open and it closes way too early, but for the price paid it is a very good value.
For those newbies coming for Las Vegas for the first time, if you can't afford Bellagio or Cosmopolitan then book here. It is the next best thing...Written 14 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Access in and out is great. I don't like hotels that have lobby and guests elevators far from each other.
Great location on the strip. There is a Walgreens on the side of the hotel which is very convenient.
There's many restaurants and shops to choose from.
Definitely recommend for family because of the standard suites size. A lot more room for the kids.Written 30 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. First there was an alternative line that my buddy tried to bet at the desk and it was off the board and yet when I went online to an offshore book it was still available and this was way before Gametime. Then we had ventured to see the circa sports book and he found a bet for the number of 3 pointers per team thinking that it was available at all books he came back and found the mgm sports book didn’t have it.
The casino makes it easy to place a sports bet with kiosks located all over the casino.
I basically concentrated on playing bubble craps for my entire stay at Luxor. Noticed a few oddities one was that I could make a bet pass $15 here but was limited to $15 maximum at the nyny bubble craps machine. Now another thing is that I knew that hard way and one roll bets like the horn bet I could get away with a $1, but even numbers I could bet less then $5, it only seemed the initial pass line bet required $5. I religiously used my mlife card for the machine and earned a healthy chunk of points my main purpose was to get pearl status to avoid paying the parking fee but fell short.
My friend whe likes video poker felt the machines were right here there was a bank of these machines near the Excalibur connection.Written 24 June 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They allow smoking, but you don’t really see a lot of it, maybe it has to do with the classy establishment. We played a little, won a little, lost a little and mostly had a good time.Written 12 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - suedo66Pewaukee, WI444 contributionsLike a lot of vegas casinos--but they have a good promotion for folks signing up for their players club--the first time----------------if you do slots and lose $20---( easy to do )---they give you $20 back to play on some more slots----so you pay $20 for $40 worth of play------good dealWritten 26 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - fungus49Las Vegas, NV51 contributionsAwesome local's hotel casino. Tons of parking, including a huge covered parking garage with immediate access to the casino, food court and movie theaters.
Great sports book too. We didn't play any table games but there are several excellent restaurants on the property, including T-Bones and Herringbone.
Friendly staff everywhere.Written 28 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Lots of tables and people. Would of been great to stay there as we would of stayed in the casino playing blackjack.Written 30 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michelle DMechanicville, New York, United States36 contributionsThe plusses were it is centrally located on the Strip in the heart of the action, there was a lot of dining and shopping nearby and it has a storied past . Unfortunately, no Vegas hotels appear to have coffee makers. Being early risers, and having to catch a bus for a day trip at 5:45am, it was a drawback. The earliest we could get coffee was 6am in the lobby and at $7 or $8 a cup, it was way overpriced. Booze was cheaper. So we ordered a small 4 cup maker and coffee from Amazon which paid for itself(we didn't rent a car and didn't plan to find a department store). Which leads me to: the $15 delivery fee to bring the package into Bell Services and the $5 Bell Services fee to walk the package to our room, despite our readiness to grab it and go. You get nickled and dimed for everything. But you don't know it will happen because there's no fact sheet about the hotel in the room. I get it. It's a touch point in a high turnover establishment. But the online TV "directory" had no information either. Which is why we didn't know the pools were only open from 9am to 5pm, required a room key and a valid ID. It would have been nice to take a dip about 7pm when the sun was gone because oh, it was 100 plus every day of our stay. Nope. But when we were resting in our 19th floor hotel room in the heat of the afternoon, we were treated to the daily pool party, complete with window vibrating bass. I suppose it was still better than the party the Mexican restaurant next door started at 3am our first night, which shook the windows on the 23rd floor and prompted our room change to the 19th floor. If I go back to Vegas, I would likely go elsewhere. The Flamingo was fun, but it wasn't a good fit.Written 13 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
