There are a lot of different shops and restaurants available here - just across from Caesars Palace. Make sure you use the pedestrian bridges at the corners of Las Vegas Blvd & Flamingo if you need to get to the Linq/Flamingo side of Las Vegas Blvd - otherwise, it's like playing a live game of Frogger to get across the Blvd!! (even at a crosswalk/traffic light)

It is like to be at Disney but for adults only. Las vegas it is a must to go and see at least once in a life. We found that even thou the city has lots to offer, a long weekend it is enough. Otherwise, it wears you off.

18 square blocks of previous industrial space is undergoing a transformation into a hip area with local breweries, independent food outlets, antique shops, art galleries and installations, and generally interesting walk-around and discover experiences.

We were attracted at first by the support that created several micro-breweries, and enjoyed a pub-crawl through Nevada Beer Works, Servehzah Bottle Shop and Tap Room, Hop Nuts Brewing, and eventually Able Baker Brewing, which seems to be the matriarch of the bunch.

Along the way we discovered Vintage Vegas Antiques, Modern Mantiques and a number of attractive and interesting vintage clothing and curious artist venues. While not pedestrian-only, this is an easy to walk (and feel safe) district. We weren't able to enjoy the First Friday event, but is looks like an enjoyable aside from the ding-ding-ding of casinos.

It’s iconic, it’s a must to get that picture with this sign. I used the deuce bus which costs 8 dollars for 24 hours. You can ride the bus to the sign. Cue and then take your pics.

The walking trail is well-maintained and meanders from side-to-side. There are benches along the trail if you need to rest. I love seeing the hummingbirds flittering all around. One of the off-shoot trails is what I call Birdhouse Alley. It's a short offshoot, but you'll see a variety of birdhouses. It's not very well-lit at night so you may want to go earlier in the day.

I've been to HCW in other cities and this one is pretty much the same. It's fun to go and see what merchandise they have, visit the chocolate sculpture (Lady Liberty was pretty cool), and grab a treat or a milkshake. I snagged a late night milkshake and was very happy with both the shake itself and the quick service.
