I went to the one on Dean Martin (there are currently three locations off strip in the Vegas area). Highly recommend. I had been to salt room at Canyon Ranch in the Venetian before, this trip needed something less expensive and it was a steal. - Joe GPhoenix, AZ124 contributionsThe Summerlin Lifetime Athletic Club is a diamond level club in the Lifetime chain. Diamond is top of the line for Lifetime. I have worked out at gold level clubs, at onyx level clubs (next step up from gold, and the level of my home club), and at diamond level clubs. I see a significant difference in the typical facilities and amenities between gold and onyx level clubs, but not between the onyx and diamond levels. I understand, however, that the increased charges for club membership between onyx and diamond are quite substantial.
All of the Lifetime clubs I have visited are great - with facilities that are superior to the other fitness club chains I have visited. I maintain my membership because the other chains do not - IMHO - offer the same quality and caliber of amenities that Lifetime does. The massage itself was great and certainly worth the money alone. I had Cindi who was chatty and friendly. I was more than happy to talk to her during the 50 minute treatment that went so quickly and would recommend her.
However I do think I would rather pay extra for a spa with additional facilities. The hot tub was outside and looked a little miserable. Inside there was only a steam room, sauna, showers and a 'relaxation room' which was a room with sofas and a few magazines. There was water tea and a few pieces of fruit available too. Basic yoga classes that caters to all levels (and fine for beginners/first timers). A little more dolphin-focused than yoga-focused, but was a great way to start the day and we were able to take some fun pictures with the dolphins doing yoga poses.
Plus you get all-day access to the spa and a smoothie at the end which is nice. Seems they've increased their price, now it's $75 (not $50 like it says many places online), but seems in-line with that I'd expect for vegas prices.
There were only 4 in our class, which was a comfortable number, I think more than 6 would feel crowded.
Available only on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with an 8am and 9am option. On the nervous system, with the help of the special exercises that the stunning instructor will guide you through, you will reach a perfect balance in the nervous system, on your brain, mind. deeper sleep, and complete relaxation. And also if you just feel like want a reset to everything that's happening outside. The heat is delicious, the teachers are all uniquely amazing and the owner welcomes you into the community like family. I'm a visitor in this town and only here for a week, wish I could take these beautiful teachers and back with me. - Wendy W3 contributionsI come almost every other day. Hot Pilates is a extremely fun workout. Time flies when I'm in there and I burn so much calories in one session. They give you a cold wet towel to swipe off when finished. Shower room is also included in the studio.
