Amazing museum. So much to see in a great space. Dinosaur lovers are going to love this place. We really enjoyed the Mysterious Creatures exhibit too. Don’t miss this museum if you are in Bozeman!

This museum is truly a hidden gem! They pack a lot of fascinating material, displays, and insights into a relatively small place. Madelyne (sp?) gave an excellent introductory overview of the museum and its artifacts, chock full of great stories (ask about the display with Bill Gates' phone number). The tiny gift shop is also loaded with high quality books and items for all ages. We are so glad we stumbled across this and wound up spending much more time in it than we had originally planned. Enjoy!

Nice rock formations, beautiful surroundings, moderate hike, well maintained uphill trail, strollers can go almost to the end, a little unpaved and rocky climb close to the falls, well worth trip if you are in Bozeman and enjoy the Hyalite canyon and Hyalite recreational area, pack a lunch and enjoy the views

After the museum we headed downtown for lunch and shopping. Great stores, a little something for everyone. I can't wait to go back.

Connor was our "guide" and he was very engaging and knowledgeable. He was very funny and provided very interesting information on the bears, the differences and safety. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the bears close up and learning more about these magnificent animals.

Our family of 6 had the most incredible time with Julia as our fearless guide! It was all of our first time white water rafting and it was the perfect amount of adventure, excitement and beauty. Seeing a bald eagle flying overhead at the start of our trip added to the amazing experience.

This was our first Montana Ski experience and we will be back! What a treasure Bridger Bowl is. Friends of mine had told me it’s a “hidden gem” and isn’t that the truth! Bridger Bowl makes a Montana ski experience possible for big families. You get incredible mountain skiing experiences for a great price. So many options at the multiple chalets to eat and hang out. Great staff all around, everyone is friendly! Really fun skiing, excellent snow and well groomed runs, and plenty of options for all levels of skiers. We had 5 teenagers on the trip and they were highly satisfied and impressed, not always an easy accomplishment!

My rather low expectations were significantly exceeded at this museum. They have a lot of information and exhibits about the history of the area and the jail. (The museum is located in the old jail.). My wife and I were really glad we stopped in. The jail-related subjects were very interesting. Lots of stories about the inmates, local murders, etc.

The man taking tickets was very helpful and informative.

We spent about an hour and a half here. You could spend a lot longer though as the place is surprisingly large.

I consider this a must see sight in Bozeman.

The theater was having a “yard” sale in the back of the theater the day we flew into Bozeman. Since we love exploring, we took time to walk around the alley to go to the sale. We had a wonderful visit with the people who helped restore this old theater. My hometown recently restored an old movie theater so it was great to see this happening in other parts of the U.S.

What's not to like at this distillery? It's a laid-back affair in the heart of Bozeman. They make all drinks but specialize in a lot of rye and whiskey. I tried drinks that felt like this summery day in September, complete with the Huckelberry and citrus juices. State law allows each visitor to have two drinks. Sit at the counter and enjoy small task with locals or hang out with your party in the room. The space also serves as a shot for anything that you might want to take to go.

This is a 1.2 mile (one way) gradual incline hike, well maintained trail. It’s well worth the hike to see Grotto falls. Not a big falls, not many people around. Cool canyon views and rock formations. Pack a lunch and enjoy it near Hyalite recreational area. Road leading to the trail is gravel and not a smooth ride.
