Our focus was to go on some of the trails in the park. We went on one rather strenuous one that went up on the bluff above the water; it had beautiful views. We also went on a trail that stayed more in the woods, some elevation but an overall good path. It's also beautiful just to walk along the spring. The restaurant and store are currently open; the hatchery is under construction as well as some project along the spring. Beautiful views.

Older daughter really enjoys museums and Route 66 history, so this location seemed like a good choice as we were traveling through the area. The museum isn't very large by itself, but it does house a nice assortment of items and information pertaining to Lebanon and the surrounding area. Some of the dioramas and recreations were truly impressive, especially considering that the museum is free to visit.

There's a gift shop next to the museum entrance, and the building houses a good sized library as well. We briefly checked out the shop, but we didn't wal through any of the library.

Was able to pick up some great gifts for the family! Prices were very reasonable. My husband was impressed by the lady behind the pocket type knives. She was very honest with a customer regarding a particular knife and its potential safely issues. Sped a lot of money but got a lot of things!

This Civic Center is not an attraction, in and of itself, but holds many events and advertised activities. Such as Business meetings, Conventions, Vendor events large and small can be conducted in the main facility; pictured in the information section as well as two off site facilities in Lebanon, MO. The Exhibition Hall can accommodate indoor motorized and Rodeo events as well as large seated catered ones, etc. There is a YMCA attached (best access through the backside of the building) as well as a terrific auditorium which can comfortably seat 675 people and includes an easy handicap entrance and exit from outside the building. It is a state-of-the-art facility for any performance. It is always a pleasure to see a presentation there.
We in Lebanon love to share our town and hope you'll find it friendly and inviting.
If interested you can contact the Kenneth Cowan Center at 417-532-4642
    Blessings! KN

It's become pretty much a tradition for us to stop here, stroll through, and stretch our legs a bit; while journeying on to Branson, Mo.
There's still a large selection of booths and items to browse and explore. Leaning more towards the flea-market end of the spectrum; there are still some vintage items worthy of the "hunt".
The staff are friendly and accommodating; and overall, this is still a solid option for those who enjoy hunting the bargain.

this park has several covered dining areas, a fun playground with the ground covering a soft blue spongy material. There are wide open grassy fields where children play without dog feces. in the summer there is a misting sprinkler and it is next to the aquatic center. the public rest rooms are always clean open 24/7 and automatic lights come on for safety

This racetrack is so much fun!!! It's a wee bit pricey for tickets, but it's the best track around. Ample seating and concessions available. Bring a blanket or a jacket as the temp drops in the evening hours and the wind can be chilly. Also, bring a seat cushion if you prefer softer seating. The seats are like bleachers, hard! Restrooms available, but busy... Parking is out and away from the tracks, so wear comfortable walking shoes.

Love visiting Lebanon to go to Jonesy"s. Usually always find a great buy. One of the few remaining shops like this in Lebanon. Worth going!

We used to go to this mall when I was young and buy all of our school clothes. Now they have like 3 stores. I actually did find some really good bargains! I would give it more stars for more stores. Sad how the malls are all dying out.

The park has had some renovations recently. Added a new play area for children. The walking trail is paved and has level and uphill walk. Wide enough for wheelchairs. Open and shaded areas.

This is a small underused park. Has a paved track for walking, small amount of playground equipment, with a handicap accessible swing. Bathrooms, shaded gazebo. I like to walk here because it's not crowded. Flat mostly, could benefit from a light at back of trail by tree line, but I feel safe.
