We spent a very pleasant 3 hours doing the train ride and exploring. A wonderful place to take the kids to see what life was like 100 years and more ago. The people doing the demonstrations corn mill, (blacksmith, apple press, etc.) were very friendly and informative, as well as the guides in the buildings.

The signage on the way there is practically non-existent, so be sure you have a good idea on how to find it. This little gem should be advertised more. We just happened upon it looking online.

So much to do there for kids. We went there twice while there. And still had a much fun as before. I even took the idea to present to our city for something just like this.

Love coming here as we can get a lot of our shopping done. From vegetables to fresh baked goods/bread, cheeses, meats and desserts, this light filled and clean market is one of our favorite places in Flint. Feels good to support these businesses who are working hard to provide this level of quality.

I heard about this place from a friend, so 4 of us made the trip. I had NO idea this place existed, and the best part?? IT WAS FREE! The Mott Foundation has allowed for the public to visit the estate and the gardens, free of charge. Reservations are needed for the tour of the house, but the gardens are open during regular hours. The gardens are beautiful and the house is amazing. Unfortunately, they are only open May through October and then Thursday through Sunday only.
Check their website for more information.

Pretty area. We stopped on a roadtrip and the pics make it seem bigger than it is. Probably more for locals. I would've liked to walk further.

Excellent place for all families and or field trips for kids. So much to do and so much fun. A really fun filled learning experience. Even the adults were having fun. Will definitely go again.

So much to do here. We went twice and would have went again but had other things to do on our agenda. Everytime the kids saw the highway signs they begged to go there again. So much to do and learn so blessed much. YOU HAVE TO GO HERE. New facility that just opened in July 2022. And the bookstore prices are very similar to local stores.

The Buick Automotive Gallery is now closed, but at least some of those cars are now in the recently renovated Sloan Museum of Discovery. I read that the Sloan Museum Vehicle City Gallery is 10,000-square-foot. Note that the Solan Museum is currently free to Genesee County Residents.

This is the largest planetarium in Michigan and it is very nice. There is a large lobby area with a nice gift shop and clean restrooms. Staff was friendly. There are photographs in the lobby and lining the walls as you enter the planetarium which are nice. Seating is very comfortable and shows are nice. Right next door is the Flint Institute of the Arts. A planetarium worth visiting!

My workplace rented the place for the youth in our community, we had a ball. The ground was clean and the fishing area was nice too.

I volunteered for the Newboys concert and work their merch table. It was fun. I got to see some of the concert. I was so excited to attend an event at the Capitol. The venue was small for the entertainment. It probably should have been at the Whiting. Overall enjoyed the concert.

    This place is really nice.

You do have to make a request for them to open up the playhouse, because they don't just keep it open due to the pandemic, but they are more than happy to during business hours.

It is a very nice view from the outside still.

I'd recommend if you have small kids or small pets to stay near them because there are big vultures in the area.

Parking lot is a nice size.

There's a lot of handicap spots, especially by the welcome center.

There are picnic tables, walking trails, and there's a playground.

They have porta potties as well.

There's a gift shop nearby too, that offers a nice variety of souvenirs that are very affordable.

They have porta potties as well.

Flint Symphony Orchestra plays seasonally at this fine concert venue. Many other class acts perform including singers, dancers etc. We went to the Christmas Pops concert in December and thoroughly enjoyed it and the wonderful solo sopranos.

Imagine a brick street lined with good restaurants, mural art and classic stone architecture. Saginaw cuts through the heart of downtown Flint. Car culture thrives here and is celebrated both in the sculptures of early auto icons and in the Back to the Bricks car cruise. Bikes on the Bricks follows a few weeks later. Festivals and events occur often in the summer months. Easy walking distance to the Flint Farmers Market. Saginaw street is vibrant and thriving.

I enjoyed a Firebirds hockey game with my brother here. One level seating with not a bad seat in the house. Overpriced concessions and under quality taste. Beer prices are decent. They have a gift shop that is extremely overpriced for the merchandise. VUP parking is available in the rear of the building for $5. The venue was clean along with the restrooms. Staff was friendly and armed security was plentiful making you feel safe (even though entry did not require a search or metal detectors). Good team with nice entertainment between periods. I would definitely return for a game but eat somewhere else prior or after.
