Very interesting museum with artifacts and historical documents as well as contemporary art. There is a nice exhibit of the famous Armenian-American photographer, Yousuf Karsh.

This was very unique and worth seeking out. Parking wasn't great but be patient. They have quite a collection of bath and kitchen items.

Friendly staff, free parking, professional company. We saw Oliver! and it was terrific. Dialogue was hard to understand first act, but was corrected in act 2. Go there. Support local theater.

Beautiful paved walkway alongside the Charles River, mostly shaded with lots of trees and underbrush. You can see on Google maps where the trail is since sometimes it is north of the river and sometimes switches to south of the river. We walked the trail in Waltham but it goes all the way to Boston.

Russo’s is closing this fall after 100 years or so. Stopped in today for fruits and vegetables. Got their last two boxes of sweet tamarind, no one else has had it for weeks. Also bought fresh corn, oranges, potatoes, mangoes, etc. all cheaper than the local grocery stores.

They still have rhubarb, everyone else has been out for months, they get it from Holland

The Museum is housed in the Edmund Fowle House, built in 1772, and is the second oldest surviving house in Watertown, MA. The museum is quaint but informative. Not just about the house's history, but American history as well.
For example; at the beginning of the American Revolution the house served as the headquarters for the executive branch of the Massachusetts government from June 1775 to September 1776. The Treaty of Watertown was signed on July 19, 1776, in the Council Chamber on the second floor. This treaty was the first to be signed between the new United States (represented by Massachusetts) and a foreign power (the Mi'kmaq and St. John's Indian Nations).
Today, the Fowle House also serves as the home of the Historical Society of Watertown.

The House museum is open for tours the 3rd Sunday of the month from 1pm - 4 pm.
The last tour of the day is at 3:15pm. Tours are also available by appointment.

Public Transit-Harvard Station to Watertown Square via Mt. Auburn Street, #71 Bus.

I have been to this place a couple of times as a beginner climber. Plenty of onsite parking space. Staffs are really kind and energetic. They offer different levels of routes for both bouldering and climbing. Small studios in the same building for cardio and weight lifting. It does get crowded during busy hours.

A nice variety of fresh nuts and chocolates here. So fresh and tasty you will want to buy everything you see. There is a nice selection of vegan treats too. Great for gift giving and snacking on. Staff is friendly and very helpful.
