There are a few parking spaces by the front door, but otherwise you have to park in the back DOWN the hill, which means you have to climb up to see the house.
As the driveway is one way, we were instructed to park around back in a lower parking lot.

This hike is just as those reviewers described...beautiful nature trails with wonderful summit views!
The trails are all well marked, and I would highly recommend this park for a hike with a workout attached.

We went to the Park to walk the Benedict Pond trail, which is a pleasant easy hike around the pond - with an optional extension to the Appalachian Trail - which is a nice addition to a great look out.
This park offers many many MANY different trails to loop around the park.

Their garden walk is a pleasant way to stop and enjoy a few moments in nature, while sipping on coffee and muffins.
In we went and were greeted by a lovely young man who assisted me in connecting to their wifi and gave us some background on the park.

The park was clean, walking/hiking path was a little rocky and hilly but definitely doable for an out of shape couple!
Park in the NY Taconic State Park lot on route 344 (GPS: 42.11711, -73.50776) for an easy 3/4 mile walk (each way) along the creek to the waterfall.
