- Paul RBlackwood, NJ42 contributionsA nice little Promenade down near the bay. They even have a boardwalk to take a stroll with your mate..Written 3 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Marcus NWashington DC1 contributionMuseum dedicated to the fascinating history of the duck hunting industry on the upper Chesapeake Bay. Traces changes in technology and technique to the eventual elevation of duck decoys from a tool to an art form. Worth visiting.Written 26 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- montanapescadoAlbuquerque, NM1,316 contributionsThis area has some surprisingly rugged trails, giving it a more adventurous feel than other similar area venues. A skilled rider may enjoy the rougher trails on a mountain biker, and everyone can enjoy them on foot. A good place to get away from the urban lifestyle!Written 29 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lucky4ironDamascus, MD74 contributionsQuiet and beautiful quaint town. Enjoyed the lighthouse and the water views.
Would like to take advantage of the boat trips next time.Written 22 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The last 7 steps up the ladder to the top could be challenging for some. I really enjoyed the whole park.Written 7 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- justlucy123Lancaster, PA114 contributions$3 to enter self-guided maritime museum on the Havre de Grace Promenade. Lots of Havre de Grace maritime history including model ships and artifacts. History of the Conowingo Dam is very interesting as we have driven past it numerous times. There is also an area dedicated to John Smith's exploration of the Chesapeake Bay.Written 28 April 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Joe_from_WorcesterWorcester, PA128 contributionsGreat place to buy a cold, tasty bottle of wine, sit under the tree, and enjoy the view, which stretches to the bay. We recommend a tasting of the wines to figure out what you'd like to buy. Pleasant and helpful staff. And, if you're so inclined, you can buy a bucket of golf balls and drive them into the field. But it was very nice to just sit and relax for a while. When the weather's not cooperative, there's a comfortable area to sit inside as well. They occasionally have events featuring music; so be sure to check their website to see what's coming up.
The "facilities" consist of a line of port-a-potties, but they were surprisingly unobjectionable.Written 4 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MominOCOrange County, CA5,075 contributionsHard to beat this pleasant area for a picnic or just a stroll. Trees provide shade and on this day there was a wonderful breeze. This time of year there were few people.Written 12 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Bill BBel Air, MD8,193 contributionsI haven't been in an old fashioned department store in ages, so a nice combination of new merchandise in a 101 year old store attracted my attention. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, but I am always attuned to trying to find things in my size that I might need. I was lucky to find a belt and socks that fit and a lavender knit cap for fun plus two bars of handmade soaps. The display of exotic house plants was interesting, as was the large section for children's books and toys. Joseph's made for an enjoyable Saturday shopping experience.Written 2 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bill BBel Air, MD8,193 contributionsSignage from the main Route 155 to the Stepping Stone Museum is clear. It is located within Susquehanna State Park, meaning one could make a full day of sight seeing in the area. One is "welcomed" at the entrance of the property by old farm equipment. One drives slowly past the main house and outbuildings to the parking lot where one is again greeted by a coop of very large chickens. There are paved paths that make the walk around the well kept grounds easy. One can see outbuildings that aid in the smooth running of a late 19th Century farm like the blacksmith and woodwork shops. From the back of the main house one looks out into the forest and can even see the river. Don't forget to collect a brochure highlighting upcoming events near the door of the main office.Written 25 March 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
