What travellers are saying
- Dustin BWells, ME22 contributionsThis walking trail is a local wonder. I am thankful that my town has this free to the public. The trail is a large loop on nice flat dirt with many look out posts that view the marsh and wetlands. I have walked this trail many times and encountered deer and other small animals. See my deer pic attached! There are benches and a couple of bridges but the trail does seem to be accessible by wheelchair. This is also a great place to bring your dogs on a leash. My fiancé and I have had many romantic strolls here. Also, If you happen to play Pokémon go this trail is a hot spot for Pokémon so keep that in mind.Written 6 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We'll definitely return here in a few weeks when the foliage colors ramp up -- the area is particularly beautiful then.Written 17 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Donald MAuburn, NH40 contributionsAwesome 11 days with an uncrowded beach. Hit it during a storm at sea with larger waves. September is the month with the warmest ocean temperatures. A quiet island getaway with minimal traffic. Tide came in higher as it was a full moon.Written 15 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- NoraatcSudbury, MA32,625 contributionsAbsolutely stunning long walk on the beach we didn’t even know about. We started our walk with the Ogunquit beach and continued up to the end of the Moody Beach (total out and back from the Ogunquit Beach parking lot was 5 miles). Moody Beach is mostly private but walking is allowed, so we were grateful for that. The weather was stunning, just unbelievable for November.Written 5 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - slalwaisePoughkeepsie, NY15 contributionsWe really enjoyed our visit here. First we found the roadside stand near our hotel and found out there was a farm store to visit. Bought some lovely fresh vegetables and fruit, fresh baked blueberry bread and some wine. Sat outside at a table. My companion enjoyed the turkey sandwich he bought. I had some coffee. I peeked around the corner of the building and saw horses in a corral, and we enjoyed a closer look at them and took some some photos. Wish we lived closer in order to shop here often. I use a wheelchair and there was no barrier to enter the store and it was not too crowded/aisles not to narrow/no merchandise blocking aisles to get around inside.Written 17 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Maurene_KDover, NH10,220 contributionsAlthough Spiller Farm has its address on a different street from Spillers’ Farm Store, the farm is diagonally across the road from the store.
After lunch at Spillers’ Farm Store, I went over to Spiller Farm where it was partly about apples and mostly all about pumpkins.
The rainy growing season had not been kind to a number of pumpkins. Many had a lots of warts on them. But, that didn’t stop people from coming to pick out some pumpkins.
While I was looking over the pumpkins already brought over from the pumpkin patch, a woman with three children came along with a cart full of gourds and pumpkins. They went on the scale one by one. Surprisingly, her total was under $25.00.
I rate Spiller Farm at 4.50 and can recommend a visit.

- capecoddaBoston, MA63 contributionsBeautiful area but private parking. Nice area to drive around not stop and visit. There is no where to walk all private homes.Written 8 August 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Russell WNorth Carolina1,756 contributionsWhile visiting Wells in January, we found so many places closed, but Spillers' Farm Store saved the day! After looking at a house with a realtor, I wanted pizza, and my wife wanted a lobster roll. Our first choices were both closed! We knew from Tripadvisor that Spillers' was open so we drove there, and it sure was. Not only did they have pizza (I bought all three slices that were readily available), but they had lobster rolls, too! Perfect, since we had to head to Portland to make our flight and didn't have time to drive around looking for lobster rolls. The store isn't huge, but there's a LOT in it. Meats, produce, a deli, pizza made on site, and the usual grocery items that you'd expect. The pizza slices themselves had been in the self-serve case for a bit, but they were still really good. My wife liked her lobster roll and chips. Friendly staff, talkative and engaging. I will not forget this place, and plan on visiting in the warmer months for berry and apple picking. Plenty of parking, credit cards accepted. Brisk traffic in and out even in Winter on MLK Day. It's nice that they are open daily year round when so many other places are closed.Written 21 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DAKD c2cBelfast, ME14 contributionsThe clothing was more for older people (in my taste anyway) I got really good sunglasses there and they were pretty cheap and good quality. There was also really pretty jewelry.Written 8 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Maurene_KDover, NH10,220 contributionsAnytime Antiques is multi-dealer antiques shop with booths of varying sizes. Most of the ones I saw were small. I estimated that over 75 dealers displayed there. It's one of the largest shops I've visited.
In the first aisle of small booths, I found a woman who was putting out some items for her friend who leased the booth. He was out of the country. We chatted for awhile. She was very pleasant.
During my visit, I saw a wide variety of antique and vintage items that included glassware, housewares, decorative pieces, furniture, dolls, and all kinds of collectibles. I even saw a box about 18” x 5” that had the word muffler written on it. By the way the box was positioned half-behind other items, I couldn’t read the lettering on the two words before muffler. It was about the right size for a motorcycle muffler.
The dealers kept their spaces tidy. Things were organized.
Anytime Antiques is nice store. The only criticism for the store is that the lighting could be better. There were some areas where the light wasn't good.
I rate Anytime Antiques at 4.50 and can recommend a visit.

Mike McDermott, owner of Mike Clam Shack which is diagonally across US Route 1, bought it and moved it to the back of his parking lot.
What remains at the original site is a small park with a commemorative monument adjacent to Garrison Suites Motel & Cottages.
There’s a small covered bridge that leads from the motel’s parking lot to the park.
The garrison had a role during the French and Indian Wars.
I rate the Storer Garrison State Historic Site at 4.0. It’s worth a stop.
