- Eric V1 contributionTour was great. Lake Martin was gorgeous. My 2 girls, ages 11 &6, loved it too. Tons of birds. Lots of Bald Cypress trees and Spanish Moss. - Rose M B1 contributionLate October is a wonderful time to view the variety of wildlife in Lake Martin, swamps, bayous, and sloughs. The birds are very active and the sky is bright and clear. Cpt. Sean has his PhD in "Bayoulogy." He not only knows the history and future of the area but knows where each creature lays its eggs. He's a respectful, knowledgeable, funny, and attentive guide to the region. Cajun Country Swam Tours is the only "swamp tour" I can fully recommend. She is very knowledgeable and it was really great hour and half on the quiet boat exploring the swamps. - Linda M2 contributionsFabulous day viewing many ibises, herons, roseate spoonbills, and nutrias. Birds were sitting on eggs showing all that breeding plumage. Our very LOCAL guides spent the whole day with us and knew their birds. I have never seen so many birds in one day.

It is not often that you encounter people who truly love their job, with Cory it's obvious. From the best routes to take, food and restaurant recommendations, or tips on kayaking in general, Cory has all the answers.
Would recommend him to anyone. If he weren't the boss, I'd recommend he get a raise. Cory for mayor!!

Our party of 4 had a great time and we will definitely be back to go hang and cruise the swamp with one of the most down home people you could ever meet.
