To be completely honest, zip-lining isn't my thing. I only went because my daughter enjoys it, and this sounded like something unique. IT IS. Very much so. We both had a great time, and our guides, Nolan and Mackenzie were the BEST. The suspension bridges were my personal favorite part. I regret not having any pictures of them.
My wife and youngest daughter took the tram tour, and both said it was also much better than they expected.
Downside... the Jeeps were non-functioning. It's a Jeep thing... if you know, you know... ;)

The Kentucky Derby Musuem was both educational and fun! Took my niece and nephew who enjoyed it learning about the horses and going into Churchill Downs.
Plenty to do inside with the wrap around movie about the history of Kentucky Derby to the interaction items. My nephew loved the one on betting he just loved how the lady asked how you would like to place your bet.

Barb was the best! So many great stories. She really made the house come to life. Wonderful old home with so many interesting antiques. What a great time capsule!

We had never experienced anything like this. Usually, you’re either driving or moving too fast to appreciate the view. It was a slow, calm walk with excellent views and interesting people.

We visited before and were only able to do a tasting- still an excellent experience. We were able to schedule a tour with this visit. The distillery has such a great history! We really enjoyed it.
Make sure you allow time for a cocktail (they also have a few small plate options) at the Garden and Gun Club in the upstairs area of the visitor’s center. Blade and Bow bourbon is my favorite, so that helps too!
You will want to add this distillery to your list of stops!

Best of the tours. Personal, up close and distinctive. They do a good job of highlighting what makes their product unique. Eat before you go, the tasting is cask strength and generous. Excellent bourbons, especially the Ryes ( I am not a Rue lover!).
    Highly recommend!

Louisville has much to offer. While it seems that the city is all about bourbon and horses, we especially enjoyed the Louisville Slugger & Museum. It’s up there with the National Baseball Hall of Fame. We also were impressed by the Mohammed Ali Center. One restaurant we liked was O’Shea’s. If you’re looking for good bourbon to buy, we found the House of Bourbon to be helpful. The downtown area is very walkable. We were there for a reunion of about 200 people and think this was good choice of location.

Entertaining, great fun, and the most unique tasting experience we’ve had on the trail. The speakeasy bartender was delightfully funny and loaded with a ton of great stories well as fun history. The rest of the tastings at the many other distilleries are all very good, but none as entertaining.

This was an absolutely beautiful cemetery, serene, historic, and huge! Be sure you have a map and know what sections you wish to explore. There are many many roads to take that wind around and throughout the cemetery.
