we liked walking the main street with the nice houses and cosy bars and restaurants but the empty streets around it didn't feel safe at night

These big bright murals are at the base of a floodwall as you cross the bridge. They showcase the history of Kentucky and is a dramatic improvement over a cement or even a graffiti covered wall.

Nice park overlooking downtown Cincinnati. Well taken care of and plenty of parking. Admission is free and it is worth the winding road drive up to the overlook.

Stopped here while staying in Covington. Beer was very good. The service was fast. They have a nice open area and a rooftop that is very spacious. Would come back again.

Tucked away in the hills of Covington is the Behringer-Crawford Museum. It is filled with local Kentucky history, e.g., artifacts, paintings, stuffed bear, antique car. Located near Devou Park, the museum offers something for every age. A great get-away during the weekend. I wrote about the museum for aeqai, an international online visual arts journal.

Spent two hours with our kids and grandkids and had a lot of fun. It was very hot and there wasn't much shade on the lake but we saw lots of blue herons, turtles and ducks. The ramp makes it easy to get the boats in and out of the water and the lake is a great size for the younger kayakers. Close to our home so there's not a lot of time wasted in travel. Overall a nice trip!

Attended a weeding at the Garden of Hope, Was surprised that such a place was even in Covington Ky. Lived here for 67 years and never knew it was around. I guess we all need to get out more and explore our own back yard

Fantastic little park on the Ohio River. Less than a city block but chock full of history and statuary on park grounds and the nearby river walk. The views of the Cincinnati skyline are fabulous. Walking in and around the park is relaxing and historical if you choose that route. I found it very peaceful.

Attended a conference here and observed that the staff in the food service area was very attentive. The rooms were also well appointed and the meeting spaces seemed to be well staffed.

Poked my head in just before a local choir was ready to start a concert. Gorgeous interior. Would love to come back and wander around inside.

This is a nice park to go and walk around the creak and let the grandkids run and play. It is usually clean, with a nice mix of people. A lot of people walking their dogs, there is a dog park, but it has really gone down hill over the years.

NKY has dedicated about an acre at the foot of the Roebling Suspension Bridge to honor those fallen officers who gave all in service to their community. It is well maintained and a fitting tribute. A nice place to pay respects to the officers or relax and enjoy the sunshine on one of the many park benches.

If you live or are visiting in the area swing in, otherwise, not much to see. Overall, this is a really pretty place to stroll around, so if you are doing that, this should be a stop.
