What travellers are saying
- ShirHaifa, Israel3 contributionsWowww the best tour I have ever had in my life we had the most exquisite and splendid tour for noting but 10€ we received a wonderful and comprehensive tour about wine making, agriculture and even got to taste the raw grapes before they turn to incredible wine.
Mia our wonderful tour guide went above and beyond expected, couldn’t recommend more!!!Written 6 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The staff were polite, friendly and had a wonderful sense of humour. Mahmood was particularly brilliant in terms of knowledge and how he explained things - he is a gift!!
The food and the whole experience was wonderful. Thank you to all involved!

This was a nice, small museum and we were given a good tour in English. The displays are well-done and in both Portuguese and English. Worth a short visit.Written 6 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- RandyRossRidgetown, Canada11,629 contributionsWe visited this small, traditional bakery as part of our Viking River Cruises tour of Favaios. We saw the bread being made; we saw the traditional oven; we ate the bread with butter, cheese or homemade jam. And we had our host's homemade muscatel. It was a very real and very personal visit to part of Portuguese history. I'm glad that we could visit while this place still exists.Written 6 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dese2Auburn, NY2,533 contributionsThe church was closed when we were in town, but we passed by, and the facade was interesting. There are a few steps leading to the doorway.Written 28 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Teresa V7 contributionsI believe that says it all. This place no longer exists. That means you should not waste time trying to find it.Written 29 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- brandoll31La Jolla, CA15 contributionsThis particular trip got off to a somewhat rough start as we booked through a tour wholesaler in Porto. The gal there was quite nice and helpful, but we ended up having a hard time finding our contact at the train station and then getting off at the wrong stop. The river cruise was OK, but from then on Douro Best stepped up their game and made the rest of the tour memorable indeed. From wine tasting and romping around in the grapes to a wonderful sit down meal and pleasant drive home I highly recommend booking a wine tour with DouroBest, but please do it directly!Written 5 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
