What travellers are saying
- jgbtravelsLouisville, KY4,629 contributionsAlthough it was a little on the humid side today the free fossil bed tour helped get me the exercise I needed. The fact that folks come from all over the world to see this 390 million years old fossil bed is amazing. Do be careful as the rocks/fossil bed can be a bit tricky especially for those of us who are up in age. Besides the fossil beds there are nature hikes in the wooded areas from time to time. For those who haven’t been the interpretive center(fee charged) offers a history of the area and fossil beds. Do be aware of the construction on Riverside Drive that takes you to a detour to get to the park. Follow the detour signs as google maps took me to closed roads.Written 16 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Food is a little pricey and there were ALOT of unsupervised children running around.Written 7 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Go79379561 contributionsI love browsing at interesting stores so my friend recommended that we stop here. Lots of variety from furniture to jewelry, clothes, housewares and more. Prices reasonable. And the staff very helpful when we wanted to see something in the locked showcases. Clean, well organized. We had a lovely time and I would go again, because there's always something different.Written 22 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ManningAvengerSellersburg, IN1,996 contributionsBrought our grandkid and her friend for an hour of fun. There were lots of bouncing around on the trampolines everywhere. It was actually an affordable place as well. A little bit hidden from Lewis & Clark Parkway next to Ollie's.Written 11 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dismadashell1 contributionI am a "seasoned" antique mall and auction visitor. After visiting Peddler's Mall I was amazed at the size and amount of vendor offerings. Although there seemed to be a lot of yard sale items, there were a lot of antique and new items as well. I found it to be most enjoyable sifting thru all the items. I appreciate the offerings of kitchen cabinets at low prices as well as the doors, trim and other building materials. There is something there for everyone if you take the time to browse. I have become a regular customer and highly recommend visiting Peddler's Mall.Written 15 January 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cristina MLouisville, KY23 contributionsMy daughter and I recently went down to the track for some exciting figure 8 racing. We did not visit the snack stand or bathrooms.. so I cannot speak to those, otherwise we had a great time.Written 28 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dd65stangMontgomery357 contributionsWe wanted to see the clock and building, so we drove here, parked in the parking lot, and took photos. There really isn't anything else to do here, but that is what we went here for.Written 12 April 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Martin SClarksville, IN5 contributionsI have no complaints about the Mall's physical facilities or their offering of stores, which might rate 4 stars. My one complaint, which pulls the overall score down, is that they changed their hours to open the Mall doors for Mall walkers from 9 (sometimes earlier) to 10. I have to be at work by 10, so I can't use it to walk anymore.
I was able to use the Mall to walk Monday through Friday before the Pandemic, up to early 2020. For a good while during the pandemic, walking was unavailable. After things have more or less opened up as before, I expected the Mall's doors to do the same. But they haven't, and apparently never will. It looks as if the management seized the "fog of war" surrounding the pandemic to cut security or maintenance staff hours by opening later.
This is a loss to the community. Despite the stereotypes, not everyone who walks the Mall is retired. Some of us have been able to fit it in before work for years. But it's impossible now. That's really too bad.Written 1 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. One of my buddies took me and a few others for my bachelor party with us only knowing to bring bats. I was expecting a indoor batting cage, hit a few balls and call it good. Wow was I wrong, its a complete indoor training complex. Batting cages, pitching mounds, all kinds of space for training. However the Crown Jewel for us was the indoor game simulator. This place has a device called Hit Trax that gives you the chance to step up, hit the ball and see where it would land. We literally played a home run derby in Wrigley Field, followed by a couple games of 3 on 3 in professional stadiums. This time we went back with our monthly crew and played 2, 5 on 5 games. We highly recommend to anyone looking to have some fun, improve their hitting or just see how far they can hit a ball to go check it out.Written 27 May 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
