For the 2nd year in a row, we hosted our annual Top Tech Awards Banquet in St. Charles, IL. Each year we hold a competition and an awards banquet for the competitors, the judges and the special VIP guests. We have 50-60 people in attendance. This is the first time we have held our dinner at this location, and it did NOT disappoint. Rock N' Ravioli, the new restaurant inside of the building that holds the Arcada Theater, is incredibly trendy. It has a gorgeous eating area and bar, and the coolest decor. A beautiful open kitchen and the food did not disappoint. Our preordered menu included delicious appetizers, filets, chicken and fish, with vegetables, and the most amazing chocolate cake. All in all, this event wouldn't have been successful without the help and guidance from the Director of Sales Gabrielle, Event Coordinator Theresa and Sound Director Rich and all of the rest of their friendly and amazing staff. Thank you again for amazing event.

This review is for the golf course only. Played here last week. Very fun and reasonably priced 9 hole course. Easy to walk. There is a fun hole that plays onto an island on the Fox River. Course needed some clean up, but it's very early in the season. Because of so many walkers, it does tend to back up. Definitely worth a look if you are only interested in playing 9.

This is a great library! Friendly staff, well laid-lout logistically, and inviting. It's clean and quiet. I can access some magazines (such as Consumer reports) online with my membership if I don't want to come in. Also, I've seen some great concerts here too, including singer Maureen Christine, a jazz violinist and even an Irish tenor. It's so great that they have first-class artists on a Concert Series in St charles that rivals anything you'll pay to see in Chicago.

The downtown area is very nice, with a great selection of stores and restaurant, especially near the river.

Our group of riders drove up from the Peoria area to enjoy this bike trail. We have been here before several years prior. We began our day #1 bike travels heading south from the Mount Saint Mary's Park in downtown St . Charles and rode to Aurora. Lots of bathrooms and interesting sights along the way. We stayed on the East side of the river on the way south and returned on the West side. Definitely recommend that route as there were a few downhill areas on the East side. Day #2 we started at Norris Woods Nature Preserve and rode North to Dundee. This section is a little older, hillier and lots of tree root damage to the trail. Not alot of places to stop and see except in downtown Elgin, which has a lovely riverfront area.

Mount St. Mary Park is a gem of a park on the banks of the Fox River. The park has a playground that the children love and lovely areas for those who wish to picnic or simply walk and enjoy the beautiful art featured throughout the park. Skateboarders and fishermen are accommodated as well. Though it's tucked away, this park is worth seeking out!

My husband and I stayed @ the Koi Sanctuary Air B & B this past weekend. This is a relaxing, magical (not the Harry Potter kind of magic), healing place. The space is so serene, I felt at peace when I arrived. The hostess is so wonderful and very accommodating. I love the dedication she has for the Koi that is in her care. She educated my husband and I about koi's, I will never look at these magnificent fish the same ever again. Such a wonderful experience to be able to stay @ the Ryokan spa.

Walking here is like going to a wooded sanctuary. It's easy to find, has ample parking and wonderful wildlife and trails. It's small, but worth the trip.

This place is open on weekends and also has a living History Farm just down the road a short walk from the school. You can visit the school and have a live guide tell you about history and how a one room school house worked. You can take children or make it an interesting date! Bring a picnic lunch and after you tour the Durant Peterson house on the property you can enjoy the spacious walks and picnic on the beautiful grounds! Great place to bird watch in the Spring and Fall as well!
