What travellers are saying
- beckyberry822Little Falls, NJ229 contributionsStopped here on our roadtrip back to Delaware from Minnesota.
The garden is very green with various Japanese decor. There are some water falls and ponds with Koi. There were some beautiful flowers blooming!
A very nice garden to take a stroll through. It’s rather shaded with various trees to make it rather enjoyable to walk through in the summer as this is when I visited!Written 6 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. While the gardens and lagoon have been around for decades, the addition of the conservatory added to its appeal.
It sits next to a walking path along the river. It's a great way to spend some time wondering around in a beautiful place.Written 7 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. While the house had Christmas decorations they were not the essence of this December tour. Don't wait until December for this tour.Written 29 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Dave K1 contributionWent to the annual WW2 days. My son and I have been going for years. Great re-enactments and cool equipment. Highly recommended.Written 2 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ellen BHortonville, WI723 contributionsOur grandchildren really enjoyed our trip to the discovery museum today. There are creative & fun activities for kids of all ages. Our littles enjoyed the simulated tornado, the water table, the electric circuit activity, the bicycle watt generator, the “lift you pulley,” the little car assembly area, the race car, & the construction crane. In other words, there’s something for everyone!Written 5 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SalfromILCave Creek, AZ1,046 contributionsA Rockford treasure. From the time I was young, this was our favorite park. As golfers, we always chose the picnic tables above the sixth hole. There were plenty of tables for larger groups and a grill for cooking breakfast or lunch items. It gave us a nice view of the downhill par 3. We could pass the time critiquing players swings.
And if there was music at the bandshell, it was a nice place to listen away from the crowd.Written 7 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The museum's displays are very well done. A lot larger than what I was expecting.Written 6 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LostInTimePittsburgh, PA11,753 contributionsThis market wasn’t huge. It was mostly all fruits and vegetables. My kids and I walked through it in about thirty minutes. It’s a pleasant way to spend a morning.Written 11 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Travel JLemont, IL28 contributionsThe library is so lovely, the attention to detail just remarkable. It was so interesting steping back in time to see a Victorian home. The home is well cared for, and the items very interesting. Our tour guide was very informative and happy to answer questions. So glad we went here. The suspension bridge is fun to cross, never was on one before. The grounds are well maintained. It was nice to hear the family history, and to see items used back them. Definitely worth touring.Written 6 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- MJMadisonwiMadison, WI56 contributionsWe took our 11 year old granddaughters and they just loved it! They both got up on the first try, which is something that had not happened when we tried wake boarding at a different park. I wish I could remember the name of the teacher for the girls, but I can't. He was so patient. The best thing was he had a plan. He moved from the simpler things to do gradually to the next stage. I only wish we could have gone there a couple of days in a row. I'll bet they could have done the actual course with a few more lessons. I cannot recommend this place more highly.Written 10 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- lizakqNaguabo1,137 contributionsVisited here to see Chicago in concert, the theater is gorgeous. Sound was great. Staff helpful. My only regret is not had visited during the day. There is garage parking right across the street.Written 1 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
