If you're quiet, you'll see deer, foxes and a variety of birdlife, such as Owls, Kites and Buzzards.

Preparing a hot air balloon for launch is a group effort with everyone being given little jobs to do, which is interesting and serves to heighten the anticipation.
The flight is so smooth and serene, particularly when the burner can be left off for a minute or two.
One is always assured of good weather because hot air balloons have a pretty small operational window and you have to be philosophical if provisional bookings are repeatedly cancelled owing to unfavourable weather.
