Very very nice family activity for a rainy day. The kids had a great time and we did too. Some very fine and famous artworks. Outdoor is beautiful. The kids really enjoyed the circus part, especially the train thingy!

It’s Always a fun time walking around in and out of the stores and people watching. Can’t go to Sarasota without going here.

It's a good aquarium with a lot of diverse exhibits that are well maintained. My understanding is that they have a huge expansion in the works for the aquarium that will be completed in a couple of years. Once it is this will easily become a 5 star aquarium.

Peaceful and many shaded paths. Very nice children's area. If you are really into plants then $26 for admission may be well worth it. Bring your water.

Fascinating and over-the-top in terms of interior design -- a mix of influences from Venice, Italy and the Middle East. The air-conditioned mansion sits right on Sarasota Bay and is very unique. We took the guided tour ($25 per person) but there is also a self-guided tour that is less expensive (they have QR codes you can zap to hear tour info through your phone). There are steps in multiple parts of the tour – no elevator and no place to sit. I think the tour was about an hour and then you can walk around the outside as long as you want. This is only a tour of the mansion and it includes the extensive gardens but does not include the Ringling Circus Museum.

Big state park, diverse habitats: floodplains, forests, lakes. Alligators galore. Seasonally, lots of birds. The nature walk trail was beautiful, recomended. The 2 hour boat ride was lovely and there's chances to see more birds. Many trails in the park and some are great for bikes.

    Such a pleasant experience.
The animals are well cared for with large cages.
The staff are animal lovers and it was very educational.

We enjoyed visiting the museum. The docents were helpful in telling you the back stories being the artwork. Something to look at everywhere you looked.

A very vibrant area of Siesta Key with lots of shops and restaurants. Easily accessible from Sarasota and the southern section of Siesta Key via public transportation or several “free ride” services. When we visited we were unable to find a parking spot on Ocean Blvd and could only find a parking lot that charged $7 per hour.

I think after our 4 month stay, I would choose this as my favorite beach in the Sarasota area. I love most of them but this one is my favorite bc, parking is free and easy. Bathrooms and showers are clean and easily accessible. Walk isn’t bad to many different spots depending on what you’re up for. Access to open gulf, somewhat sheltered bay and very sheltered bay depending on wind.

Fishing has been the best for us here and lots of options for spots. Critters are here; my kids love critters(we found the biggest hermit crab I’ve ever seen), as well as many other crabs. Always nice people to talk to, and probably my favorite part is this has always been less crowded.

Just a beautiful place to spend a day, a few hours or a sunset. This is a place my family will remember!

Enjoyed the Birds play Detroit at this stadium. The ushers and other staff were very friendly and helpful.
Parking is confusing - don’t use google maps directions. Official parking is in a grassed lot on 12th street across from the stadium. Ignore google’s
directions to go to 10th, as the neighborhood has barricaded a lot of the neighborhood streets, and you will have to go a mile or two out of the way to get back to 12th.
The stadium concessions, parking and so on are card-only, no cash.
There is a Boogs barbecue by the picnic tables just past the outfield, which was founded by Boog Powell, who was part of the great Orioles teams in the late 60’s/early 70’s.
