- BentleystudentSaint Cloud, FL76 contributionsLots of fun for the kids. However, it took quite some time to get in, as there was a long line of cars. The lazy river also had a long wait, and was overcrowded. Wait time for the slides was shorter, and are highly recommended.Written 9 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SharkTTPembroke Pines, FL57 contributionsI had to comment about this, as it is a Bald Eagle's Nest, and not a diner as another reviewer has said. It was first discovered in early 2008, and has been used every year since then, although there hasn't always been a successful rearing of an eaglet. It is the only confirmed active nest in Broward County, 'though there have been reports about another possible location. These birds are so beautiful, and what an opportunity to see them in the wild. The nest is located on the south side of Pines Blvd between 208th Ave and 209th Ave. (TripAdvisor marker has it several miles further ease where the Post Office currently is) The area is protected but you can get a good view of the nest from the middle island the runs between the east and west bound traffic. While it is not a designated parking area, you shouldn't have any issues briefly parking at the dead end section on the south side of 209th Ave. Pines Blvd can get busy and so a lot of caution has to be taken with the traffic, therefore I do not suggest taking young children to see it. The eagles usually turn up in November with the first sightings of eaglets in late January. The eaglets have normally left the nest by early May. The eagles often could be seen perched on the decaying Melaleuca Trees west of the nest, but as the stumps of these trees have fallen over the years, so has their perching area that was easily visible. However, at least one of the eagles is usually by the nest.Written 27 May 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Miss BonafideNew York City, NY1,664 contributionsKids thoroughly enjoyed this family night out…they even have Dolphins to assist them skating. Saw several Teens & Adults using them also. It can get uncomfortably cold so make sure dress warm. There’s arcade games & a concession stand…love the Cappuccino.Written 4 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ArielflCoconut Creek, FL2,105 contributionsThe Frank is a two story art gallery in the Pembroke Pines City Center. It opened on April 27, 2017 and it is named after Pembroke Pines mayor Frank C. Ortis in honor of his decades long commitment to the cultural arts. The center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 to 5. In addition to presenting free art exhibitions, the Frank offers lectures, art classes and workshops, field trips, and guided gallery tours.
I love any institution that celebrates the arts and even better, this one is free. The Frank can be rented for private events. The Frank offers so many events for both children and adults. A full list of all opportunities can be found on their website and you can also subscribe to their newsletter. This gallery is a great asset to the cultural arts. I support any institution that brings the arts to the community.Written 6 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - haalioEast Brunswick, NJ225 contributionsThe first time we went to this place was on some birthday invitation for the kids. The place is somewhat hard to find but it seems it is a common theme in South Florida to have these kind of kids places located in a business warehouse of sorts. Since my kids are young for laser tag, so we never did that but the overall play area is awesome. It gives the kids (and your self if you are following them) a good workout and after 2-3 hours, you will be ready to head out. We have returned numerous times as it is always a good pastime for kids. They have party rooms where you can do birthday parties. Overall, the place i small but I have never seen it crowded so its always good to go there.Written 21 December 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bearden2357 contributionsNice course within Pembroke Pines. Great staff as they meet you at your car to take the clubs. Very good prices - tee'd off within minutes of scheduled time, especially having an early tee time.
Only problem, they had no driving range balls at the range.....sounded like it is an ongoing problem.Written 23 April 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The thought and detail that went into Cryptic Cay was evident and appreciated. The four of us really enjoyed ourselves and are already making plans to go back and do the remaining two rooms.Written 6 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
