I'd rate it a 4.5 star if I could...What a fantastic State Park. The only negative I could think of was there is no free wifi. However, you can purchase wifi for $7/day per device. Cell phone coverage was excellent. We were in back in site 123 with a lovely water view. Although the site was listed as 35' we had no trouble parking our 38'10" motorhome and tow vehicle at this site. Cost is $28 per night and an additional $7 per day for utilities. What a bargain! We had fhu, gravel, fire pit, picnic table, and grill at our site. Site is a short walk to bathhouse. OTA tv produce about 45 channels. No shade at this site, but not required in February (temps were in upper 60's while we were here). The beach is about 1.5 miles away and they are beautiful. There is a Winn Dixie about 2 miles away and other shops and restaurants nearby. Access to the campground is controlled by a gate and access to the state park is controlled by a ranger and closed gate after hours. There are 3 camp-type stores here and firewood is for sale. It's qiet and clean here. Hope to come back soon!

This is their offseason in January. There was still plenty to do. There were so many good restaurants that we went to. Neons had a roaring '20s party one night which was so much fun. We got dressed up and they had a live band and great food. They also had their Mardi Gras celebration at Pier Park. They had the street blocked off and had a parade and live bands. It was like a mini Mardi Gras. So much fun. They have a state park there on the Gulf or you can walk along the beach. The water is very tropical looking and plenty of beach to walk on.
The town was hit by a tropical winter storm and you could see some of the damage but many places are open and in full swing. I will go back.

Lots of free parking. Many choices for lunch and dinner plus two outstanding ice cream shops. Cinnabon too! We went on the Sky Wheel (senior discount came to $38 for two) which gives you 4 revolutions. The photo package was $24 but makes for a cool souvenir. The only negative was hitting your head when entering the cars. We were not the only ones. We also wanted to try the fun looking mini golf course but we ran out of time. This is a really good stop along your travels. We hope to come back one day.

Nice small zoo. Clean, friendly staff. Lemur experience was very well done. 2 to 3 hours for a relaxed visit. Not crowded in the morning, by noon it was busy.

This is a great place to take the kids on a day trip while in PCB. We stop here every year! I love that you can load money on a wrist band and not worry about carrying your wallet.

It’s a must while you’re in the area. Your kids will love it!

The staff was great, Izzy was very nice. She helped us out even though we kept bringing her to the register because we weren't sure what we wanted yet.

My husband and I love to walk and when we came to the Conservation Park our experience was one of peacefulness in a city that is busy. The natural surroundings are beautiful! I recommend this place for walkers, joggers, and bikers.

It was a fun and unusual museum. Lots of interesting facts and items to browse through. Entertaining for both adults and of course the kiddos.

The Hall of Mirrors was pretty fun...I got so confused for awhile, finally had to hang on to my friends shirt as she made her way through. The dance room was a blast. LOLOLOL old people and our discos!

The 7D movie was just meh. Younger kids would love it though. We did the space aliens which wasn't really anything at all so I'm wondering what the zombies would have been like.

But is it touristy...yes, and it was fun!
