- Escape000232663873 contributionsTamara our guide was very helpful and informative. A few glitches along the way as the bus AC packed in about an hour away from Key West. General consensus was to keep on going which we did but with outside temps reaching 47 degrees celsius the bus temp probably rose above that figure. Not for the faint hearted as the bus was packed and we all got off a sorry bedraggled bunch. Key West however was excellent and unique, we opted for the glass bottom boat trip out to the coral reef and then some lunch in the La Bagatelle hotel in Duval Street - the Keyline pie is highly recommended. One recommendation for the bus company however - please ask the Drivers to wait until people are seated before taking off as people were thrown about and could have been seriously injured before taking their seat. This happened at numerous pick up points. - Charles I1 contributionThe trip started a-little rough we were a few minutes late to the pickup location and not contacted by the tour guide when they left. We would have told him that we were paying for parking and would be there shortly. I did not have time to contact your office until we arrived at the meeting place. Your office provided us with the address of a hotel we could meet the bus at in Miami. The day before I got an email telling me it could only be 9am or 1pm. We couldn’t get to marathon for that time therefore requested a full refund. When the refund was paid, it was £35 short even though it Stass the same refund price in dollars. Due to the heavy morning rain, I was not able to be at the pick up location on time but the company managed to pick me up anyways, appreciate that! The guide was friendly and the ride was smooth. The final destination was too hot but swimming and chilling at the beautiful beach paid off. - John BElizabethton, TN5 contributionsFrom the moment our knowledgeable tour guide, George, picked us up at our hotel, to the end of our amazing journey several hours later, we were captivated by the natural beauty and rich history of the Lower Keys. George grew up here, exploring the then-undeveloped region with a young boy’s curiosity, so much of his knowledge is based on personal, first-hand experiences. His recollections brought the entire tour to life, in such a unique and mesmerizing way. Wow, we enjoyed every part of this incredible journey —from the vegetation to the wildlife to the untamed vistas that surround the hubbub of city life. - Julia B1 contributionCaptain Hiram is a wonderful host. He provided us with all necessary information in advance without having to ask. Meeting point was easy to find. Nice spacious shiny boat. We saw dolphins and a turtle on the way and of course a lot of fish at the snorkeling site. Hiram fulfilled our son‘s wish to make an extra stop to do some jumping from the boat. Although it was windy, they did a super job putting us on fish! They are not only entertaining to fish with, they are friendly and courteous! They really cared about our trip and we learned alot about the area! Snorkelling was a let down though, Water was merky and not what we expected at all. This was the only downfall.
