What travellers are saying
- Heather HWigton, UK9 contributionsVery interesting house - the guided tour was informative and the cats very cute. I also enjoyed the souvenir shop with a good range of books and other souvenirs. Overall worth a couple of hours.
Reasonable parking is available at the Fire Station parking lot a couple of blocks away. It's described on the City of Key West government website but not on Google maps. However you can use the adjacent public toilets for your GPSWritten 10 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There are also some walking trails, so make sure you have the right type of shoes - I would not recommend sandals. I suggest water shoes if you plan to enter from the shore because it is incredibly rocky. We had a wonderful stroll through the park and to the fort. Entrance to the park is $2.50 per person if you are on foot.Written 3 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marshall BFerney-Voltaire, France5,337 contributionsOf course one comes for the sunset, but the "freshly made while you watch/wait " Guacamole wasn't too bad either as an accompaniment. Lines form though, and making Guacamole from scratch does take some time, so start thinking about it well before, or after, sunset - although I noticed that there were no lines at all "during"!Written 11 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DannyWassermanVirginia Beach, VA4,650 contributionsWe visited the Little White House in Key West and were thrilled to read about the story of how presidents and other dignitaries arrived at this special place to have meetings about presidential topics and real-life problems that existed all over the world. Nice piece of history that should not be missed.Written 28 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TiffanyFracAtlanta, GA48 contributionsBucket list item- definitely drive it once. Beware there are traffic cops/speed traps everywhere and a lot of decoy cop cars without cops in them. There are a lot of older, broken down bridges in the way of photography opportunities. I wouldn’t do it again, but glad we drove it once to experience it.Written 15 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cassie HCalgary, Canada1,082 contributionsThis was definitely just a silly touristy thing to do while we were there but it was also kind of cool. It also showed a nice side of tourists. There was a queue to go up and take a picture but it moved quickly (we took about ten minutes) and instead of people being self absorbed everyone just teamed up together to take each group’s photos. It was niceWritten 27 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
