The weather could not have been better, and the service is exceptional. I travel globally and started my career in the service industry. “Service” is not that easy to find. I was pleasantly surprised that it lives on in Hollywood!!! Thank you Luke

A nice, wide sidewalk with a dedicated bike lane. Pay attention to where you walk as the bikers will ring their bell and holler “bike lane!” just before they run you over if you are walking in their path. Lots of restaurants, typical t-shirt shops, bars, and hotel/VRBO condo type places. We were there Dec 31 - Jan 3 and while it was crowded, it wasn’t overly so. We walked the path each day and tried out different eateries. Our hotel (the Marriott) offered free beach chairs so that is where we enjoyed the beach although you could have stepped just off the sidewalk and enjoyed the beach anywhere along the path. If I had to list a complaint, it would just be that the entire path didn’t have its lamps on at night (some sections did, some didn’t) which made for some pretty dark sections of our walk each night. That said, I never felt unsafe. I would consider coming back to Hollywood Beach on a future vacation and would not hesitate to stay at the same place and walk the Broadwalk again.

A beautiful place to go. We went there in August 2019 and that was our 5th times visiting that amazing area. We love the beach and the atmosphere.

I love farmer markets and never miss a chance to hit one while visiting new places. This by far is the best farmers market I have ever been to when it comes to fun and food. Its super big, offers food from around the world but focused on Latin foods. Life music, bars, you can still buy fresh fruit & veggies, meats, dairy event get a massage. very vibrant and colorful. Has indoor and outdoor stalls, plenty of shaded sitting. I love it so much that I would consider coming back just to visit the market!

Me and my Mom, who is a professional artist, enjoyed our visit to the Art and Culture Center. As a NARM member I get free admission. The receptionist was courteous and helpful, handing us a brochure for the current South Florida Cultural Consortium exhibit, and also chapters 3/4 in the Open Dialogues series; Gen Queerz and Queer Allies. I really enjoyed the video installations included in the cultural consortium as they depicted artistic and creative possibilities for improving ecology in both Florida and around the globe. Neither me or my Mom are related to LGBT however, so we weren't able to indulge.

Over all, it was an awesome time spent there with a few hiccups. We would definitely recommend staying &/or visiting Seminole Hard Rock Hotel/Casino in Hollywood Florida.

Our room was very nice. Clean. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom. We were on 20th floor with nice view facing huge pools.
2nd day, cleaning lady only left one bath towel instead of two so had to call housekeeping. They sent up a bag with everything in it, 2 bath towels, 2 wash cloths, 2 hand towels, The third day the cleaning lady never left replacement hotel shampoo. (good thing we brought our own) The cleaning lady was the only problem with our room. We are neat freaks & keep our stuff hanging or in suitcases with our personal toiletries always put away each morning so cleaning person has a very easy job with our room every day we are there. So when little stuff like the towels & shampoo happens, it really irritates us.

We had breakfast at Rise restaurant. Portions are too big for seniors and over priced. Enjoyed food at Food Court after that.

We had a lot of fun in the casino with the slots. On all our walks through Hard Rock, there were people cleaning. Explains why their hotel & casino are very clean. The casino has lots of workers on the floor. Unlike the Seminole Casino in Tampa.

The Guitar Hotel free nightly, outside, music & light show is worth seeing. Very nice.

Tons of parking. But don't expect to find a certain parking garage. Just park in the first one you come to. Online site told us Winners Way parking garage would be closest to our guitar hotel check in. We couldn't find the name on any of the parking garages or signage we came to. It just said Parking or public parking. Once parked, Check in was friendly, quick & easy. Check out was friendly, quick & easy too.

f you have not been swung around the circle then you have not properly visited Hollywood Fl. The city of Hollywood was designed by founder Joseph Young. Unique to his design was the incorporation of three large circles of land located along the main boulevard. These circles became the sites of a ten-acre park which was originally named Harding Circle and later renamed Young Circle, a circle for the city hall complex, and the third circle for a military academy. If you have ever driven around the Artspark at Young Circle it is like a roundabout but on steroids. People race around it at high speeds while others frantically try to find the exit off. It's quite an experience if you miss your exit you will be swinging around again.

Inside the circle is a large park where the city holds events. There is no parking in the actual circle so you need to find parking along one of the city streets or in the downtown parking garage. Normally it is not a problem but if there is an event it can be tricky. Inside the park is a bust of city founder Joseph Young, a covered playground, splash fountain, restrooms, visual arts pavilion features live glass blowing demonstrations, salsa dance classes, and an art gallery. An 2,500 guest amphitheater hosts free weekly concerts and events. Currently the city Christmas tree and Hanukkah display is set up here. The circle is the cultural arts heart of the city. It is also favored by the homeless residents of Hollywood. When there is events the police sweep them out but when you visit on your own it is best to keep aware of your surroundings. Other than that the landscaping is lovely and it is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon.

My review is about the Seminole Classic Casino, not the newer one called Seminole Hardrock Casino & Hotel. We have been to both. I am rating this place higher than I did in the past because they added a non-smoking section, which I know we appreciated. Slot are tight as usual but we had fun, and lunch wasn't too bad either. We will be back for sure.

Best $20 spent in Hollywood! Friendly rental staff and equipment and beautiful mangrove trails. Saw gigantic iguana in a tree, three species of herons and some buzzards.
