What travellers are saying
- Pat HCelina, OH21 contributionsRemember the city of Flagler Beach will be repaing and replacing much of the Pier, I believe in early 2023, so you will not get to enjoy it once the construction begins.Written 17 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Philip A5 contributionsThis off the beaten path historic site is a treasure. Ruins are visually arresting with many interpretive signs and exhibits. The unpaved but well graded one mile entrance road adds to the adventure and traverses a jungle like coastal hammock that ends at a tributary of the Halifax river.Written 11 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- 73KT64Twin Mountain, NH57 contributionsSuper clean park. Beach access with bath houses. Boat ramp and fishing access. Also offers 2 different campground loacations. Friendly staff.Written 13 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Diana RBirch Run, MI1,932 contributionsNice place to enjoy a glass of wine and one of their delicious charcuterie boards. We try and stop in during our yearly trip to Daytona Beach. It’s a beautiful drive down A1A too.Written 2 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Brownpatricia123Mechanicsville, MD14 contributionsMy husband and I spent the month of November 2021 and attended Santa Maria Del Mar every Sunday. We felt welcome and enjoyed the services and seeing so many young families at church.Written 2 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- DarinannNorthport, NY107 contributionstook the opportunity to have tea while we were there and boy am I glad we did!
Elizabeth and Beau were an incredible bonus to our delicious meal.
Finger sandwiches and assorted sweets served in an absolutely beautiful backdropWritten 13 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - CanuckAlbertaAlberta447 contributionsDropped by today and a rainy dreary day but enjoyed the stroll on the boardwalks through the tidal marsh. Lots of birds to see, only wish they would have a map or the trails and boardwalk as the boardwalk is only one way diagonally across the preserve and you have to walk back through residential to get back to parking lot to make a complete loop.Written 24 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mark CKnoxville, TN2,317 contributionsThis was a very clean beach, it was a very welcome stop for us as we were traveling, very comfortable safe and secure. One of the things we enjoyed was the chalkboard that's by the pier, you could write your name or where you're from, in this case we were just married. This is an awesome place to visit.Written 21 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

Free entrance fee and parking, tennis courts, skate park a hidden gem. Only a small park easy to walk around

It’s room after room, full of wonderful works of art! There are several workers thru out to help you as needed. This is always a must stop for us every year.Written 24 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- J. RayFlorida727 contributionsBeach side parking off A1A or River parking off High Bridge. Restrooms at the riverside but not the beachside. It’s just a small area to park on A1A with a ramp for direct access to the beach. Trails are nice to view natural beauty.Written 1 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Arline ZatzMetuchen, NJ888 contributionsThis is a great place divided by the highway. One fee covers the nature trail, fishing lake and picnic area, plus entry to the beach. If you want to swim, lay on the beach or fish in the ocean, just cross the road and enjoy the lovely surroundings. The trai is a little over one mile loop passing through shady Maritime hammock and scrub communities. Trees take on unique shapes and do take your camera because there are many photo opportunities. You may also spot bobcats, deer, racoons, box turtles rat snakes, and numerous birds.Pets are allowed on leash and there's a nice small campground, too.Written 1 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Christiana B1 contributionI had a great day today at the magnolia spa in flagler beach. I started with a relaxing but therapeutic massage from Marilyn, spent time in the sauna, mineral pool and lounging around the beautiful deck then finished with a body scrub and polish by Maura. Then I had lunch on the front porch. I also couldn’t resist buying a crystal that they had for sale. I will be back! A huge plus is that it’s wheelchair accessible!!Written 24 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Freedom8263991 contributionLisa is awesome! I brought both my girls, 6 & 9, as they've been relentlessly nagging me to learn to surf. In fact we got them a "Sushi" board last Christmas. Anyhow, Lisa and her sidekick Danny first started on the beach with some "pop-up's" to get acclimated to the motions once you are about to catch a wave. After 5-10 minutes of being in the water my 6 y.o. caught her first wave! a few minutes later my older daughter caught one as well. Both stood up, balanced themselves well and rode multiple (10-12) waves each. It was a huge confidence boost for both. I was so proud. Lisa and Danny are great people, and very friendly. We would certainly do it all over. Money well spent at a local, small business.Written 9 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
