- MdRigsbyGrand Rapids, MI17 contributionsWe had a great time! Captain Robbie was so nice- ask for him. We reserved a 1pm-5pm time slot but could’ve easily stayed longer! From booking to drop off, my couples/friend group and I had a wonderful experience. Apple maps brought us right to the location, but the other couple who were using google maps had difficulty finding the location- hint: it's behind a place called "Docies Dock". Robbie told us all about real estate in the area, the history of the company, and gave great recommendations for places to eat in the area. He took pictures for us and had all of the fun things for the water ready to go! We looked for turtles and dolphins, but unfortunately we never saw any- he recommended a morning trip for better chances. Crab Island was super busy the day we were there, but we all felt very safe under his supervision. He has a radio/walkie-talkie thing to use, and he called over a vendor when we wanted to buy fresh fruit! The cooler he had on the boat was huge and fit all of our drinks! He helped us load the boat and unload the boat ! 10 out of 10 for service, alone. This was our first time at Crab Island and we were not sure what to expect. You can come here with friends to celebrate or I even saw families on the water! There were jellyfish but not a lot and Robbie kept an eye out for the ones that sting. - Charlie S1 contributionwe rented a pontoon boat for four hours and it was awesome. having owned our own pontoon boat for the last 10 years we expected a nice unit and we got just that. The boats are large and very comfortable with a perfect layout. We set out into the harbor and immediately saw tons of Dolphins. We pulled up to a sandy beach with only one other boat and swan with the dolphins. They were within about 30 feet of our boat and when we swam. The day was perfect! could not have asked for a better experience.

I had friends in town and we were lucky enough to grab an opening for a two-hour cruise. Lexi was so accommodating I felt bad that she was waiting hand and foot on us!! They both took such great care of us and took really great pictures for us! We saw tons of dolphins. Captain Pam is also very knowledgeable about Destin and very respectful of the water and all of the sea life. We always have a good time renting from Boogies, always a great time and never any problems with the pontoons. The guys that help you on and off the boat are always courteous and very helpful. - christienrandySoddy Daisy, TN338 contributionsThis adventure was just okay for us. The boat was nice and the staff was great but the snuba part was just okay for my husband and daughter. They took us to a jetty with tons of people and there weren’t many fish to see. I ended up snorkeling instead because of my ears and going deeper into the water. They do break off into smaller groups and didn’t feel they got to go too deep under water to see the creatures below. You spend more time learning how to use the equipment. The cords will only go so far and you have others in the group possibly bringing you back up when they come up with their line because of tangling. I know they can’t control the fish that are around at the time but I do think the large crowd pushed them away. Maybe go on a day where there aren’t as many people or early morning. From the woman who checked us in, to the guy who loaded us on the banana boat, to the guy who got us out to the real boat, to the two guys on the boat........ a CLASS ACT. Would definitely book with them again!! Professionals all the way. The water was super choppy and they really knew what they were doing. And they were all very nice and friendly to boot! - Kay L2 contributionsExtremely fun and amazing. This is a family operated business that has so many things to do. We took the banana boat cruise and we were so impressed. It was Extremely fun. My daughters 12, 8, and 16, as well as, my son that is 15, wanted to go back on the ride right after we got off. I would have rebooked but some how I was the one falling off all the time. Lol (fun!!!!). Of course I believe it was a conspiracy between them.
The pleasant personality of the employees and family members was extremely nice. The price was affordable and the experience was priceless. The photo package was also an option we had chose too as an add on. We were glad we did, the looks on thier faces ( family) as we were on the banana boat was awesome. I am glad they could capture that for us. We will definitely be lifers to this company. The next time we return to Florida. - DrosanGeorgia4 contributionsRented two jet skis - I doubled up with my 10 year old and my wife with our 7 year old. Jet skis were quality and fast. Customer service was friendly and hassle free. Shout outs to Steed, Kat and Sierra for the great customer service. Parking was free and easy - right across from where you pay and ride. Lots of restaurant options nearby as well. We went to The Harbor Tavern - great food and friendly service.

We got lucky, our group of 40 was the only group on board the American Spirit, so we had plenty of room to move about. The captain and crew were great. They let us feed dolphins before setting off. Once we got underway, the captain allowed the kids to join him in the wheelhouse. The crew were attentive and informative. Everyone caught fish. - Carla MAnkeny, IA56 contributionsOur group was well taken care of from the time we drove into the parking lot. Our captain was awesome. He gave us a short, guided harbor tour before heading out to Crab Island. The amenities on the boat were great. The large float was really nice and everyone in our group tried their hand at the stand up paddle board. The boat was spotless and we even managed to get a glimpse of some sea turtles and dolphins. This was the highlight of our week in the Destin area. - Mark TSchererville, IN69 contributionsFirst time parasailers here. We didn't really know what to expect. My wife and I and our two teen sons went with another family. The boat was very nice and all equipment used looked very safe. Both the captain and his mate were very professional and I never thought anything less of the equipment. It was a great time and nothing what I though it was going to be. - Richard H2 contributionsThis was a lot of fun. Staff was very friendly and helpful and made sure my daughter and I had a great time. They offer both the jet backpack and a jet board now. We both did the jet board and were up and flying almost immediately. We both do a lot of snow and water skiing and wake boarding so it came pretty naturally. This is an expensive activity but it truly was one of our favorite activities during our Florida trip. - Francisco ACentreville, MD13 contributionsI’m an experienced diver and spoiled by the clear waters of the Caribbean but I decided to dive in the Gulf of Mexíco for the first time. Although visibility wasn’t even close to what I’m used to the crew of scuba tech did a great job, very clean boat, super knowledgeable and something that is the most important for me is that is very friendly and make the trip so awesome!
