Small number of vendors and visitors but this is a beautiful park at south end of Anna Maria Island next to the Longboat Key bridge.
Little more rustic than rest of island - great for nature lovers - but still has that gorgeous sand and water.

There is always plenty of room to park lounge chairs, spread out an eating area and also play sporting activities on the beach.
Parking nearby can be a bit difficult to find, but their is a free car park in Bridge Street, where we found a couple of spaces, but I guess it would be much busier at weekends.
