What travellers are saying
- LukasMiami, FL15 contributionsWe went March 2nd and set out from Cronin’s Yard at 8am. The weather and conditions were pretty extreme. There was extreme winds and a snow blizzard at top. Low visibility near the top. Had no gloves but summited at 11:09am. Definitely intermediate-advanced level.Written 3 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Floyd EOshkosh, WI3 contributionsMy wife and I just returned from a week's vacation in Ireland, mostly in the Southwestern area of the country. We visited all the classic Irish sites: Cliffs of Moher, Rock of Cashel, Ring of Kerry and the Kerry Cliffs, Slea Head Drive, Skellig Michael, and more. Ireland is a stunningly beautiful and the Irish people are helpful and friendly. But the memory we are first to share with family and friends when they ask "How was Ireland?" is our visit to Kerry Woollen Mills. We took the one hour tour and spent a solid hour in the shop. When visiting other countries especially those with such a rich history like Ireland, my wife and I try our best to learn and experience as much of the culture and history of the country as time will allow. The tour of the mill was AMAZING! But this type of activity may not be for everyone. If you'd like learning about the history of Kerry Woollen Mills, learning how wool is transformed into sweaters, hats, blankets, etc., and simply appreciating the artistic beauty of yarn, you must take this tour. The owner and staff are wonderful! We were treated like long-time, old friends. Thank you, Kerry Woollen Mills, for informative, colorful, happy, memories.Written 6 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stay315843459944 contributionsAmazing, clean, great facilities. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Had a coffee and scone before the walk and a bowl of soup after. Highly recommend this place for a night's camping before a hike up the big mountain 😁Written 31 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
