Slater Memorial Museum
#1 of 4 Museums in Norwich
Located on a campus which rivals that of small colleges, the museum allows the review of exquisite paster casts of great works of art, local art and a great small museum feel.
Paired with a regional museum and contemporary art gallery, Slater Memorial is truly a precious pearl.

I escorted a school group, and while the high-schoolers were unimpressed, I was pleased with the knowledge of the guides and the history that the museum covers.

Have visited WW 2 vintage subs in a couple places and some of the surface ship museums.
The staff at the museum are friendly / helpful, the grounds / facility are immaculate, and the exhibits / tour of the Nautilus are a terrific way to get kids engaged in history.
