- UpstateNY518Ballston Lake, NY46 contributionsWow.. There is alot to see and you can go in the submarine.
Thought this would be a lame 45 minute maximum stop, and we were there for hours. Could have stayed longer, but we got hungry. There is a 50 minute movie, other videos, lots of displays.
Could have done without the 1920's video playing non-stop. It echoed throughout much of the display area.
Open sub was great, because there were only a handful of people there on the Monday when we went. Would have enjoyed less if it was crowded (very confining).Written 11 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There are so many nice areas to see if you have the time.Written 11 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PaddlingFanMassachusetts145 contributionsWe'd intended to hike the trails at Bluff Point State Park on a recent trip, but the cool, foggy day wasn't ideal. So we postponed the longer trail and took the Poquonnock River Walk. It wasn't exactly as I expected. The boardwalk runs immediately behind a number of homes, so you don't really feel like you're out in nature. It is a pleasant walk with some nice views along an easy to maneuver (we met an elderly woman using a walker) trail. It runs between the playground area and a small shopping area. There is a pretty gazebo at the end of the trail. Certainly not a "must see" attraction, but worth doing if you're in the area. There is no admission fee and, if traveling with children, you'll appreciate that there is a nice playground at the start of the trail.Written 18 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
