Very quiet and peaceful location with beautiful views of nature. The fall colors of the landscape was breathtaking. Hope to see more in the future of the different seasons.

This was a very beautiful hike! It is scenic with lots of rushing water sounds accompanying your journey.

That said: it is a punishing hike up. Specifically, it is ALL uphill and then ALL downhill. if you are not adjusted to the altitude or are from out of state, I would not advise this hike. If you go anyway, drink lots of water, go slow, and take frequent breaks.

I do have some recommendations to avoid pitfalls and ensure a good experience:
-park in the Vail Village transportation center lot (Free in summer) and take the free bus to the stop. There is no parking at the trailhead, which was my biggest gripe with this hike. There are spots, but they are for 5 min drop off only which is silly in my opinion.
-The bus stop for booth falls is at the bottom of the neighborhood area where the trailhead is, and you'll need to walk up to the top of the road to reach the trailhead (about 10 min, paved). Factor this into your timeline and exertion.
-try to hit the trailhead no later than 7:30 am in the summer. It's cooler, quieter, and less buggy the earlier you go.
-wear long pants and hiking boots, not tennis shoes or shorts. The grass along the trail is very long and your legs will be in contact with it a lot. There are also parts of this hike that are very steep and slippery from trickling streams running through the trail. You will want boots for better traction - I had great shoes and still had a pretty painful slip/fall at one point.

Fair warning: the view of the big waterfall at the top is not the best, but it is visible with some neck-craning. It's not the best vista if I'm honest, but you can at least see parts of it through the trees. I put this in because if you don't know, the summit for Booth Falls may seem a bit anticlimactic.

Incredible ski lesson with Kyle Ruhter. My friends and I did an all-day group lesson with him. Keystone resort (a Vail resort in Keystone, CO) has great Greens, carpet, and learning areas from my experience. Groomed and great conditions. With Kyle, I finally got turning down (which previous instruction at another resort didn't through to me!). His techniques just make sense. He has almost 25 years of ski instruction experience to back that up! He gave each person in our group lesson individual attention and specific, actionable feedback. Not only that, but he is kind, patient, and truly cares. Through sense-based instruction, Kyle can convince even beginner skiers to make this a life-long sport! He certainly did that for me. 11/10.

Thoroughly enjoyed Vail Valley in September. The cool mornings and pleasant afternoons were a welcome respite from the heat and humidity of South Georgia. Vail Village and Lionshead offered quite a few shops and a variety of restaurants. The area also provides many options for outdoor activities. My husband and I went hiking, took a jeep tour and used Vail Valley Anglers to book a half day of fly fishing - all equipment included and a great guide. The mountains are amazing, the clear, rocky rivers are beautiful, and the weather was delightful.

The venue is quite nice with great access to concessions. I prefer the view and comfort of the seats, but many others like the lawn. They have good entertainment options and the experience is really good.

We rode the gondola up to enjoy the view. Price was a bit crazy at $65 per person but the ride up and down are beautiful. The view at the top is great too. They have a small grill set up serving lunch as well as a variety of drinks. We grabbed some coffee and hot chocolate and relaxed on the patio before heading back down.

We walked from east Vail into town, approximately 4.5 miles. The path winds through the valley, it is mostly flat and very pretty. Lots of bikes but the path is comfortably wide enough to accommodate both hikers and bikers.

Missouri Lakes trail is a long uphill hike but the scenery is beautiful, sounds of water enchanting and the avalanche area fascinating. It's a rather strenuous hike but my wife and I are in our 60s and usually just do moderate hikes and we made it to the lakes ok, although I think it took us about 4 hours

Recommend a visit to this unique museum. The movie about the history of the 10th Mountain Division was fascinating and very well done. Learning the history was well worth the time and gives me great appreciation for the men who sacrificed so much for our country. Many of these men returned to the Vail area and developed what is here today. The museum showcases winter sports memorabilia. There is a small gift shop.

Beautiful moderate trail with so many wildflowers! We have done this trail in both the fall and spring and it is magnificent each time. Don’t let all the cards in the lot scare u off, a long trail and plenty of room for people to be on their own.

Nearly everything was awesome! Be aware it's pretty expensive for what it is. My only complaint was this, when we first arrived there was more than enough tubes, once it got busy, there was literally 1 tube for every 2 people. Seems someone should make adjustments so that families who paid a good amount of money for some fun aren't spending half of that time waiting for a tube.
