You'll pass the Beaver Dam and creek if you take the Nature Trail, with the Trailhead found at the parking lot across from Elbert Lane.
The Rim trail South can be extended by taking the nature trail connector which is really fun and brings you out right at the Snowmass Village mall lot 7

Wear hiking shoes or boots, a hat, take trekking poles and use a backpack to carry water for you and your pet. Park staff along the way were quick to remind hikers to stay on the trails and avoid the short cuts th...

This is an abundantly beautiful park with wild flowers, areas for quiet meditation, a stream, quiet pathways, and best of all - the timeless words of John Denver etched into rocks.
