Admission is free to the museum which has an art gallery, gift shop, kids area, conference and meeting space, rest rooms/ drinking fountains, and of course displays of Littleton history.
The indoor interactive museum is nice but we LOVE walking though the old farmhouse, watching the blacksmith demonstrations, seeing the farm animals and pretending to be in school in the old schoolhouse.

The museum's collection of Western and Indian art and artifacts is worth the visit, and the special exhibits as well as events, make DAM and Clifford Still museums wonderful places to spend time.
I have been to the art museums of NY, BOS, CHI, Dallas, Seattle, Baltimore, Hartford, etc. and am highly impressed by the selection and presentation of the art, architecture and ambiance of the museum.

Denver's City Park reminds of Chicago's Museum Campus and Grant Park, a great place to sit and relax and visit history and art museums.
This is, for me, always a must when I visit Denver; it is one of the best natural history museums I've been to in the world, and would be fascinating for children.
