- Sergio BernacheLas Vegas, NV360 contributionsA great winery to visit if you are ever in Temecula California. Very tasty and they also do venues like weddings and other types of partiesWritten 16 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Joelle Z3 contributionsOne of the best hidden gems in Temecula. A family fun business - they do hot air ballooning from the same venue. Be sure to check that out, it's a thrill. Wines have won some pretty impressive awards and are the best in Temecula.Written 6 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AvmigKlamath Falls, OR214 contributionsOur first time at this particular winery for wine tasting and lunch. First up was the wine tasting and had some incredible wines one of which was called Angry Wife! The sommelier was extremely friendly and funny. Then onto the gorgeous patio for lunch. The food was very good as was the service. Would definitely stop here again. Check it out.Written 18 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ilovetotravel2Toronto, Canada169 contributionsBeautiful winery with live music. Property overlooks the vineyards and mountains in the background. Wines were good but host wasn’t as engaged or informative. Didn’t take the time to understand what we preferred.
Would return to grab a glass, enjoy the live music and take in the views.Written 31 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Sommelier was very knowledgeable and guided our tasting based on our taste buds. The grounds were beautiful and had that old style feel. They had a live band playing various types of music. The wines we tasted were as described by the sommelier. Great atmosphere. We highly recommend this placeWritten 31 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Nora W65 contributionsI had a nice meal and a glass of wine at Miramonte Sunday.
It was a cool place, even when the weather seemed changeable. This was my first visit here, but had it on my list given it is dog friendly.
My server, Cody, was excellent. Vibrant and hospitable; Cody knew the menu and the wines and helped me find one to my liking ( I went with the Grenache).
I had a Greek salad either a side of salmon. The greens were so fresh and the salmon still warm. The portion was great; I wound up packing half to take home.
A tip to the visitor: do not park in the employee parking lot as I inadvertently did. The incline and gravel make it near impossible to get to the patio ; I had to sidestep it like a ski slope!Written 25 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The food is good as well. The GM is incredibly inflexible on changing out your wine shipments (there are some wines we prefer more than others) for members and they charge a "handling fee" for member shipments. Those two items are my only frustration. The grounds are beautiful, the food delicious, and the wines are our favorite in the valley. If you like sweet wines, their La Rosa is amazing! If you like reds, their Barbera and Zinfandel are our favorites.Written 13 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - J EFredericksburg, VA11,419 contributionsWhile staying a couple of nights in LaJolla we decided to drive out to Temecula, as we hadn’t been there in about 8 years. We didn’t have a set list of which wineries to visit, so we came across this one first and stopped.
The place is beautiful! Reminded us a lot of Napa Valley vineyards and wineries. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The wines were decent. Tasting wasn’t too high priced, $25/pp for 6 one ounce pours.
Bottle prices were definitely reasonable. It’s definitely a nice place to buy a bottle, sit outside in their garden and sip!Written 15 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. If you are into bikes, MotoGP and find yourself in the area, this is the place to visit.
All the races were shown (not live) on big screen, 9-11 on race day. Enjoy the racing with bike/race fans. There was a coffee stand, burrito bar and you can of course try the wine. There is a good collection of motorcycles and memorabilia to look at.
You cab also sign up for the regular tour of the winery.Written 2 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MBN134050Redlands, CA667 contributionsOutstanding winery tucked away in Temecula. We found it by chance when we were searching for wineries that are open late during the week. Wow, we were not disappointed! The locals who go there are very friendly, and gave us great recommendations while we waited in line. Their Chardonnay is incredible, as well as their zinfandels. Wine slushie is good too - not syrupy sweet at all like so many.
Here is how much we endorse this winery- we signed up for the wine club on our very first visit. They have outstanding deals if you want a little or a lot of wine shipped to you every few months. It’s a casual and low-key type of vibe, and very cozy. Can’t wait to go back for our free glasses all month long!Written 4 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ConnieLongBeachLong Beach327 contributionsI had lunch at Avensole several years ago and remembered it as being very good so my husband and I decided to come at wine tasting and to hear the Sunday afternoon music. We made a reservation and were seated at a lovely table. The wine tasting was informative and the wines quite good. We shared a small charcuterie which was more than enough for 2. The singer was very good as well. it didn't get hot til aobut 2:30. They were good fans and misters. My only suggestion woudl be to star the music an hour earlier to avoid the heat. We will be back!Written 14 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Geo GDraper, UT513 contributionsLoved the bubblies, great way to finish the day with lighter, refreshing wines. Did a group tour and this was one of the stops. Friendly staff made you feel comfortable, whether you are a connoisseur or novice. The wines were very good. A must stop if visiting Temecula.Written 1 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
